This was my eight visit to Lalibela, but my first time to stay at this Lilla Lalibela Guesthouse. Let me say that I was more than delighted. It was better than any other place I have stayed in Lalibela...even better than the hotels. It will be my place to stay when I visit again next year. Large welcoming and nicely...

We stayed over Ethiopian Christmas, was expensive but all the hotels/guesthouses were expensive over that period of time. If you are on a budget, ask them about camping in the garden, it was substantially cheaper. Breakfast was eggs and toast, nothing special but all prepared freshly for you and we had no complaints! Staff were super helpful, did our laundry,...

Nice family. I found this place to be quite cozy, I had a large corner room. It was clean, and had plenty of blankets to stay warm. The walk up to the churches was about 10 minutes and the rest of town 20 minutes, An ATM is really closeby, The guesthouse is located in a smaller street just off of...

Loved this place and extended our stay from two days to four. The room was really big and had a little balcony and the best bathroom we experienced the whole holiday (cleanest, brightest, strong hot shower). It is at the bottom of the hill that Lalibela sits on, this means an uphill walk if you want to reach the restaurants...

Enjoyed my stay very much! My room was clean and comfortable. The guesthouse is in a quiet and peaceful area. I woke up to hear birds singing every morning! Werner Cameron, the owner is a very kind and interesting man to speak with. He has had a fascinating life. Debro, one of the staff was very helpful in arranging tours...

We stayed here 1 night, but I would have liked to stay longer. The twin room we had was huge and there was one queen size bed and another normal size double bed. There were only a few rooms, so its a perfect small little family guest house. The shower/bathroom looks good and was warm. Although ask the owner if...

This rather new family-run guesthouse has only four rooms on the first floor which are clean, spacious and nicely decorated, and with balcony. The price for a twin room was around 550-600 birr. The staff is very friendly and helpful with organising excursions and transport, as well as tourist information. The family lives downstairs and you get the feeling that...
