Beautiful building, if a little unexpected and quirky. Friendly, helpful and professional staff. Cater well for special diets. Ideal location for small business conferences with nice meeting rooms and nice social areas. Clearly must have huge maintenance costs and limited budget!

You can find far better quality, amenities, and location in Nairobi. Not worth the price tag or the hassle. They charge $10 USD if you lose a room key but no reimbursement for cold showers or lack of wifi and when you mention it the staff says it's not their fault.

Visited for a board meeting for the day on March 10th. Service; the morning receptionist was rather nonchalant, did not bother to say good morning nor smile, I feared this would set the standard for the day. Fortunately the service staff were excellent, friendly, efficient and helpful. Esther who served us was just lovely. At the end of the day...

My first ever visit to Kenya and as a first impression I must say it is a lovely country. Spent most of the time in Limuru / Nairobi. The buildings and grounds are lovely, the former being in need of refurbishing. The staff are friendly and polite. However, they need to be better trained and also to improve their understanding...

Has a quirky calm character with a lovely slightly olde worlde ambience. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This hotel has to be THE place to stay if you want to recharge your batteries! Staff are very well trained indeed and demonstrably eager to please. Found ourselves beginning to plan our next stay at the hotel! There were some issues with the...

Quiet. Intimate. Dedicated service. Excellent location, 30 KMs from Nairobi. Memorable stay with them a few days ago! The food, rooms, staff and ambience exceeded our expectations! We look forward to visiting with them again!

I have periodically returned to the Sovereign Suites, from pre-opening stage to more recently following a trip to the Seychelles, when I yearned for some crisp cool night and morning air. Limuru, sitting pretty above the capital Nairobi and yet only half and hour plus drive, depending on traffic, is free of pollution and noise and Sovereign, with its few...

Good environment for a business meeting and also for conference meeting. Great meals as well as helpful staff. There are several options for accommodation but the one I got had sanitation facilities separate from the main bedroom. Facilities at the bedroom were excellent with a well stocked mini bar.
