A perfect couples getaway. The Lamplight Inn B&B sits in the pretty Village of Lake Luzerne, NY in the southern Adirondack Park. Near Lakes and the narrowest point of the Hudson River called Rockwell Falls. A great photo op. The Inn consists of an 1890 stately building with wrap around porch and a spacious guest sitting area filled with games, a puzzle, coffee/tea station and Gift Shop. The 1890 building has eight 2nd floor bedrooms. 7 with propane fireplace and 2 with double Jacuzzi tub. Breakfast is served beautifully in this building on a bright sunporch dining room. The menu is large with egg choices and daily special. Buffets are set up with homemade granola with toppings and milk, fresh fruit and Greek yogurt. The Carriage House is a ground floor building behind the 1890 and a pretty walk through towering white pines. 5 king suites, 4 with double Jacuzzi and all 5 have propane fireplaces. The 5th bedroom is wheelchair assessable. Near Lake George and Saratoga Springs.

A beautiful home in a lovely town. Linda & Gene were great host. Our room was beautiful and the bed was oh so comfortable. Breakfast was great, especially Linda's homemade muffins and Gene's homefries. There was a lot to do and see in the area....More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Glad you liked the home fries. Nobody makes home fries like Gene. My baking is not so bad either. Hope to see you again.

We liked this B&B so much the first time we were here (July '14) we decided to come back this year for our anniversary weekend. Needless to say, we enjoyed this visit so much that we are already planning our visit for next year. Linda...More

Thank you for spending your anniversary with us once again. We are happy that you enjoy staying with us. You definitely are right about the Mountain View being tucked away in the upstairs hall. In order to run the central air efficiently, we have to...More

First, this B&B does the important things very well - excellent breakfasts and our room was large and the bed comfortable. Our quibbles: breakfast isn't served until 8:30. I realize that I'm not on a normal schedule (I normally have breakfast at 5:30) but 8:30...More

First, thank you for the nice comments about breakfast and your room. Gene and I are very hands on Innkeepers, and work very hard to give our guests the best possible experience. But believe me, after 30 years of Innkeeping, 99.999% of guests prefer breakfast...More

We’ve stayed at the Lamplight Inn twice, both times in November, once in the 1890 house and once in the Carriage House. Linda and Gene are the owners and they are very accommodating and friendly. Delicious fresh breakfast, including homemade bread, fresh fruit, yogurt, homemade...More

Another wonderful stay. Always perfect, always consistent. Beautiful setting. Incredible breakfasts. The linens are so soft and high quality. Can't wait to go back! Our favorite bed and breakfast inn. Thanks Linda and Gene!

Thank you for taking the time to write such a good review for us. The linens are beautiful and the triple sheeting is the best thing I have ever done. It is so nice to have the extra appreciated.

There was no indication of any political affiliation during our stay there. Trump seems to be strong in the area (many Trump signs on lawns here and there, Trump bumper stickers on cars - I even saw a pickup flying a large... More
