Maple Leaf Inn is a very nice place to stay at if you go to Lake Placid. Clean rooms, and very friendly and accomodating lodgers. A quiet place, centrally located, within walking distance from the center of LP. Nice garden with a pool and a bbq grill. Not overprized. Can be recommended!

We stayed at the Maple Leaf Inn for the Ironman competition, July 24. This is the way all motels should be. The owner and his wife run the motel. Before we got there we asked if they had a blender in the room. They said no but we could use the one in the house. Outstanding customer service. On race...

The owners have to be the nicest lodging people we have met on the road! Attitude is the key in this business and we have found that most chains have pleasant staffers, but they all could use a lesson from the owners of the Maple Leaf Inn! Hotels and motels and inexpensive anymore, so it's important for customers to feel...

We wanted a room a little bit away from the high traffic area. We stayed 2 nights. For us it was a quick trip which included a college visit. The management was very friendly our room was clean and not over priced. We walked across the street for ice cream in the evening. It was quaint and clean.

We wanted to visit family that lives in town, but not 'vacation' in town. This was a great price for what we wanted.. AND the perfect location too. We will definitely be back to stay! Our only concern is the joining rooms. Rooms say that they are smoke free- but our neighboring room smoke smell was coming in through the...

We checked in very late on Thanksgiving night after a long drive and spending the day with family. Rod was very friendly and accommodating, even with our late arrival. The room and bed were very cozy and plenty warm, even with the below zero temperatures outside. We spent our days out in the surrounding area hiking and wearing ourselves out...

This is a typical motel (single storey). The rooms were clean but basic. It looks as though some parts of the rooms have been recently upgraded but the bathrooms look tired. The beds were comfortable. There was quite a bit of noise heard from the next room - partly because there was a connecting door. The occupants were not being...

I stayed with several friends on motorcycles and found the Inn to be clean, well kept and a great value. The Inn is within walking distance to downtown and all that it has to offer yet is very quiet and peaceful at night. The owner was very accommodating and on site the majority of time.

Stayed in the end suite, room #20, with jacuzzi tub, kitchenette with small refrigerator & microwave, coffee maker. Very clean, comfortable bed, quiet for good nights sleep. Only stayed one night, but lots to do in area. Enjoyed boat cruise on lake Placid, drove to top of Whiteface Mountain. Lunched in Castle there. Hiked at Paul Smith College. Elevator to...

We had an excellent stay at the maple leaf inn. Owners were very helpful on what to see, where to eat, etc. our room #7 was just right for us. Shiny clean, comfortable queen bed, bathroom was small and retro but very doable since there was a large dresser with mirror to use for makeup and such. Frig, microwave, and...
