I. Have never been so surprised as I was walking into our suite. It is absolutely fabulous. We are in suite 502 which is a penthouse with 2 huge balconies our own private hot tub and bbq. And all the patio furniture one needs. I hope to return here again.

Stayed here during the winter, I accidentally booked at the Lake Placid Lodge when all my friends were staying at the Whiteface Lodge for a 40th Birthday celebration. We'll let me tell you I am so glad I made the mistake! We absolutely love this place. We stayed lake front in the Placid room. The view is amazing and the...

I rate this property as excellent based on location, although you need to drive to get to downtown LP. The ambiance of the place exudes the Adirondack theme. The meals were very good. It was interesting to see the Bird Man, a fellow that brings live Hawks and Owls to the property mostly for the kids I think. Which brings...

We rented the Birch cabin for my husbands 50th birthday last January. Although the weather was rainy and there was little snow we had a fabulous stay. The cabin was spacious and beautifully decorated, we really enjoyed the stone fireplace. We enjoyed cocktails at Maggies Pub and then had dinner at Artisans which was delicious and elegant. We would highly...

Recently returned from spending the weekend at the lodge and as always it was wonderful. My husband and I not only were married at the lodge, but return every year since our wedding. Every time we walk into our cabin or the main entrance we always feel as if we stepped foot into a fairy tale. The staff are attentive...

Went there February to book my wedding venue with them... Trying to get in touch via phone/email was awful. I wanted the lodge to be the place I got married at, they had my date available and everything. Called a couple days and times later, no response. Got an email saying they were sending my proposal over for me to...

We stayed for two nights at this beautiful hotel. The service was impeccable, every person on staff was helpful and made you feel like you are their only guest. Celine and Kevin were so sweet and took great care of us and our guests. If you want to be pampered and stay in a room of luxury you can't beat this...

Absolutely beyond phenomenal experience. Thomas Huling, General Manager, opened the front door to the lodge and graciously greeted us upon our arrival. Bill had welcome champage for us. U the fireplace as we entered. We had our petite wedding ceremony and reception at LPL. All the details of both were perfect. My husband and I spent nights bf and after...

Lake Placid lodge is a beautiful hotel/resort! The main lodge is gorgeous. Right when you walk in you can smell the fire, and someone at the front desk greets with you a glass of champagne while you check in. The lodge has beautiful views of the lake, and there are two main restaurants (both amazing food but one is more...

The Lake Placid Lodge is a typical Adirondack Camp turned upscale hotel. Greeting by Bill was friendly and warm. We were taken to our room (Placid), which was on the upper floor of an outbuilding, connected by a covered walkway. All of the top management we came in contact with were welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately, that did not carryover to...
