On our recent trip to Lake Placid we were fortunate to find on-line the Stagecoach Inn! We were greeted upon our arrival by the owner Mary Pat. We stayed in the "jenny suite" on the main floor. The entire property is beautifully maintained. The interior was furnished with beautiful antique and rustic artifacts. This property is very close to all... More

Lake Placid is a picturesque and magical town. The Stagecoach Inn is every bit equal to it's town's reputation. Very clean, cozy, and comfortable. We enjoyed looking at all the antique and Adirondack lodge furnishings. Breakfast was exceptional, a fresh loaf of bread every morning and cup of yogurt that is out of this world, not to mention the French... More

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights while exploring Lake Placid. Mary Pat and Tony warmly greeted us when we arrived, and showed us our lovely room (the Jenny Suite). Breakfasts were amazing - yogurt with fresh fruits, then either a "full Irish Breakfast" (eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, ham - all on one plate) with fresh baked bread, or... More

We have stayed in a lot of b&b's so can truly say, this was among the most amazing! The interior setting was magical, and kept to the authenticity of an Adirondack lodge. It is hard to imagine innkeepers who could run a better operation. It was immaculately clean, cozy & warm, and the evening wine and cheese was a wonderful... More

My wife and I found this B&B by chance without much research. We were so pleasantly surprised with how great this Inn is. The rooms are all so beautiful everywhere you look. The innkeeper was exceptionally nice and took great care of us! I must say, the breakfast is the best in town! We actually limited our eating at dinner... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights during a fall trip to the Adirondacks. From even before we arrived, Mary Pat made sure we felt welcome with a phone call to confirm our plans and flexibility for our room. Once we arrived, the warmth and comfort of the location were only added to by our hosts. The rooms... More

My wife and I headed to Lake Placid for our first time and saw the reviews for the Stagecoach Inn on Trip Advisor, and decided to try. Well, we are so very thankful we did. Mary Pat and Tony were the most gracious of hosts. It was great to sit down with cheese and drinks upon our arrival on Friday... More

I heard for months about the Stagecoach from a friend who had stayed 84 nights at Mary Pat and Tony's inn over the past few years. A recent trip with my sister and me made it 87; I had to see if the praise was deserved. It was.The reasons for my friend's loyalty are obvious. Lake Placid has no shortage... More

Lake Placid’s Stagecoach Inn is a rustic delight. Hosts Tony and Mary Pat are both tied deeply to the community and will happily share all kinds of stories about their sports experiences in particular – Tony is a former Team USA Olympian in the bobsled and Mary Pat is a former competitive figure skater. The Inn is nicely situated a... More

Amazing! SO much to take in here at the Stage Coach. Rustic? 100% But it also has character in spades. Mary Pat was born to be a hostess is seems and she knows no strangers. What a fantastic stay we had and encourage you to enjoy it as we did.
