This was a fantastic place to stay. It is charming, the staff was wonderful, the meals were good. Our whole group has such a great time. I would recommend the LOJ to anyone looking for a quaint mountain place in the Adirondacks

The Adirondak Loj is an elegant lodge nestled in a beautiful setting. We went snowshoeing through the pine forest to top of algonquin mountain and enjoyed spectacular views. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The food was also excellent.

Warm comfortable rooms, and great atmosphere for supper and evening. Good food for supper and breakfast; very tasty lunch gabs. Perfect location at the beginning of trails. Great service and lots of fun! Best place to start off the New Year!

Room was cozy and very comfortable. Dinner, family style, was top quality and had the chance to meet and talk with new friends and share Adk. hiking experiences. Another wonderful stay. This just might become a tradition!

Dogs should be allowed as long as you are not staying in the lodge itself. Yet, as Ken T. suggests, i would confirm directly with ADK club which maintains the lodges.

I apologize for the delay in answering your question. In my opinion Lean-to #3 offers the most privacy (it is also a little bit of a walk from your car). Lean-to #13 offers good privacy and you can also park your car right... More
