We got a really good price, and for that this hotel really suited what we wanted. Great location for restaurant and bars. Basic room, comfy bed, decent shower, clean. Somewhere to sleep at the end of a busy day.

Stayed here with my younger son for a weekend to see the oldest compete in a Woodsmen's meet at Paul Smith's College about 25 minutes away. Great location at the northern end of Main Street in Lake Placid. Andrew checked us in and was excellent. He was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the entire weekend when we extended our stay...

My family stayed there for three nights for a hockey tournament. We originally stayed in one room where the toilet handle broke, needed to ask for sheets and found out very early morning that there was no hot water. They did accommodate that morning and moved us to a bigger room. After the next morning housekeeping came to clean our...

We were in town for a hockey weekend, and no our kids are not the crazy ones running around they have a strict curfew and we're all out of the pool by 830 and in bed by 930! So with that this was a decent stay, staff was helpful and friendly. Parking is extremely limited here, there is not enough...

I think on value alone it was 4/5. The hotel is dated and a bit tired but for the internet deal of $63/night was totally worth it. The beds and pillows were comfortable (which I need due to a bad back). Being an older hotel the walls were more solid so it was less noisy then most hotels. I would...

We stayed for one night. The bedroom is small. they are pet friendly, what we were looking for. they are well located. In the winter, lake Placid has a Dog Sled at Lake Mirror which is few steps down of this hotel. Good restaurants waking in distance. Our stay was so short to say anything else. For weekends the price...

We arrived at the hotel on Saturday afternoon. The lobby was filled with screaming children playing video games on the hotel's tv. Should of been a red flag. Youth hockey weekend. Needless to say, the hotel was like a children's playground with little or no adult supervision. Shame on those parents. Noise continued until after eleven and started up again...

This hotel is clean but needs a lot of renovations; our room was very big but not enough chairs to sit; the shower drain wouldn't leak; we couldn't take more than two showers! The linens are cheap cotton and the cushions are not fluffy. The lobby and games room are freezing and the furniture needs to be more organized; it...
