Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Somehow, my review from last summer got deleted, and it was not my doing. However, I notice that all reviews prior to May 25, 2015 are now missing. It’s still the same hotel with the same address. So, one can only conclude that someone is manipulating the TripAdvisor website to eliminate negative reviews. Well, this bad review is returning.
My hotel was an experience of pluses and minuses.
PLUSES: 1) Entering the driveway, I saw a nice swimming pool that looked clean and well-kept. Several people were enjoying it. 2) On arrival at the office, the deskwoman planned to give me a room in the front facing the road. Since I wanted a quiet room, I asked for a room out back. I was assigned to Room 124 which was out back and quiet. 3) The room appeared okay. 4) The A/C was already on. The room was cool. The A/C worked great. The motor ran smoothly. It was reasonably quiet. 5) There were nice toiletry amenities in the bathroom. 6) The armchair was attractive and comfortable. 7) The alarm clock was set to the correct time, and it worked. 8) The micro-fridge combo was a plus. 9) The in-room coffeemaker was good. 10) The mattress was fairly comfortable. I got a decent night’s sleep. 11) This hotel had the waffle machine. 12) The Housekeeping Dept. gals were friendly. 13) The deskwoman was very nice. 14) The location was very good for me. 15) The price was competitive. 16) The hotel offered free Wi-Fi.
MINUSES ~ And, these were important things: 1) The TV was an OLD ANALOG RCA TruFlat. What a misnomer! I measured it with my 8” x 11” notebook. It was about 18” thick! 2) The FLOORBOARDS were WARPED and VERY CREAKY. 3) The lamps needed repair or replacement. Of the three table lamps, only two worked. The third one falling apart and didn’t work. The other two were headed that way. Both were rickety. 4) The FLOOR LAMP near door worked okay but had some LOOSE PARTS. The SOCKET holding the bulb was WOBBLY. This was DANGEROUS. It is a SHOCK and/or FIRE HAZARD. 5) The DESK and CHAIR were VERY DATED. The FINISH ON BOTH WAS WORN OFF IN PLACES. 6) The BED CREAKED. 7) There had been some UPDATES TO BATHROOM, but MORE UPDATES were NEEDED. 8) The ROOM had that OLD HOTEL ROOM SMELL. 9) The breakfast area in the office was small. It seemed to be adequate for the foot traffic with people eating at different times.
The Bear Bites continental breakfast was good. I made a waffle and topped it with my own blueberries. That and decaf coffee were enough for me. Other selections included mini muffins, oatmeal, Cheerios, and Kellogg’s Raisin Bran Flakes, plus orange juice, regular coffee and hot water for tea.
With updates and renovations to the hotel, it would be a much better place to stay.

Housekeeping does a good job but the upholstery is all old and dirty, curtains chair etc.. Cobwebs on light fixture. Left with a spider bite and a stye.

Stuffy in room, but pool CLEAN... always a plus for my kiddos. Breakfast okay as well..simple continental. Overall felt safe and in good proximity to restaurants, some shopping, grocery, diner. Recommended for budget travel.

We arrived Friday, one night on points from my partner, next two nights in my name. Told at desk that she would combine all three nights so we could stay in the same room. Went out for day on Saturday and returned at 10:00 pm. We were locked out of our room. We knocked on the door and discovered another couple were in the room. We went to the desk and were told that they took our personal belongings out and had them at the desk. Our room had been given to another couple. The desk clerk admitted there was a mistake made on Friday as the clerk did not place us in the same room for three nights as she had told us. This was not placed in the computer. We were given our bagged belongings and placed in another room. We were totally stymied and embarrassed, and very angry. The next day on Sunday we again left for the day and returned again at about 10:00 pm. We were again locked out of the new room. The same clerk said this happens all the time. We almost left as we were nervous about this motel and behavior, however, we stayed the night as it was too late to find another room somewhere else. We travel a lot and we have never been treated this way before, it was humiliating and scary. We had trouble sleeping two nights due to the stress. We had two free nights on points, and I paid for the third night, a total of $90. I may cancel my Wyndham Rewards and Visa because of this incident. You and Travelodge should investigate this motel and their employees.

I was looking for a cheap place to stay on a last-minute business trip, and inadvertently booked this Travelodge property via the "Wyndham Rewards" loyalty website. I arrived pretty late, and was given a room in the "courtyard area." In retrospect, I guess they actually meant the courtyard of a state prison. From the outside courtyard area, the place looked pretty "seedy" - and I had the impression that the guests are probably on public assistance. Inside, I could not believe what I saw. The dirty carpet and chair had pink footprints on them, the ceiling tiles were brown from leaks above. As for the furniture, I have seen better quality on the side of the road. The room was a weird design, and in the back of the large room was either a raised bathtub or an alter for human sacrifices. The floor itself seemed "spongy" under the mildewed carpet. When I saw the TV, I thought it was "on" with static - no, it was actually the accumulated dust on the never-cleaned screen. Needless to say, I immediately left the room, and requested a refund. (At least the lady behind the desk was nice about it.) In forty years of traveling, this is the worst place I have ever seen. Supposedly the place is to be renovated - a wrecking ball may the only way to go with this place. I do not recommend staying here.

How to give you a great review on the price of the hotel it was cheap I don't believe they own a vacuum because the room wasn't clean at all I stopped at office in the afternoon to get ice NO ICE but you can go to La Quintas and get ice? Later I wanted to get a soda Guest services said soda machine by suite 7 Stopped at office couldn't find suite 7 Oh were sorry we changed room numbers and we don't have a soda machine but you can go next door to La Quinta's next door And for the pool it's closed But La Quinta's has a pool I can't believe Travelodge sends there guests to the hotel next door for amenities Maybe that's why its cheap why does La Quinta's put up with that I guess they hope Travelodge disappointed customers will return to them next time your in the area I should have known after reading guest services saying Hoffman's Playland is a great place for children But they have been closed 2 years ago Dirty Dirty Dirty Oh if your thinking only 1 person was at the front desk I had 3 different people telling me to go to La Quinta's

Although this is a pet friendly hotel, we were VERY UNHAPPY with our stay. Our room was dirty, furniture was scratched and beat up, the room smelled like stale cigarets (we had a non-smoking room), there were multiple(!!) holes in the comforters and sheets, and lose electrical components hanging out of the radiator/base board heater (I took pictures of all these things) If it wasn't so late and we weren't so tired we would have found a new hotel - we even looked online, but found the only other pet friendly hotels in the area were booked for the night and we were to tired to be driving to another city to get to a clean hotel. Overall, we felt very unsafe - this is the type of place where I wouldn't be shocked to find dirty needles, overdose victims, or prostitutes.

Initially given room in late afternoon that hadn't been cleaned. Then given an alternative room. Encountered another client who said she was on her third room, seeking one where the heat worked. After settling into my room, I was subjected to loud sounds of someone trying to get in. Then the telephone rang, with the front desk ( which had just given me the room) asking who I was. The place is a disorganized mess.

This place was terrible!!! I was afraid to leave my room which was small and dark to begin with...price for this room was way too high There was some kind of commotion at the hotel that involved police assistance I was so glad that I was only staying here a few hours

We offer weekly rates of $350, plus 49.00 Sales tax for a total of $399.00 per week. This includes a continental breakfast, WIFI, small refrigerator and microwave.
Travelodge, Latham Circle only has four rooms that allowing smoking. The have two doubles and availability is very questionable as they rent out very quickly. If interested, I would suggest booking your room a week in advance.
