The property was "clean". Other than that it was disappointing. The property is old and in need of a total renovation. We booked a suite with a kitchen and hot tub. It had neither. The kitchen as a microwave and mini-frig. The tub was...a tub.
The fire alarm went off three times in 12 hours. The breakfast buffet was the bare minimum anyone would dare define as a breakfast buffet. White bread and a toaster, Instant coffee, (no Decaf), some small yogurts, some mini frozen muffins and a juice machine.
The carpets are threadbare and the paint was peeling. The AC worked but barely.
So if you just need a place to sleep and you can overlook everything else, it was clean, the door locked, the water pressure was good and hot, and the bed was nice. Just don't expect anything more.

Not a good Hotel. I was assigned a room in the second building- second floor with no elevator to begin with. When I got to the room there was a rather large puddle on the floor, it had been raining quite hard. OK things happen? I went back to the front deck and they assigned me a different room in the second building this time on the first floor. As I entered the building I noticed a few large trash bags filled with trash, apparently stored just outside of the front entrance of this 2nd building. This trash was still there the next morning. The non smoking room I had obviously been smoked in recently too. For the breakfast the pancake machine was not loaded with batter, probably for the best, the pancake conveyor belt looked like it hadn't been cleaned for quite some time. I visit the Albany area about once a month and this was my first time at this Hotel- I will also be my last.

It was a short stay w late nite arrival. Not sure what time breakfast is over but thought it said 10? By 9:37 it was done?? Ice machine in second floor did not work so required a trip downstairs ? Relatively clean ?? Dirty & dusty on top of shower . Ok for a quick stop lock -secure anything you leave as there were people in the parking lot clearly not staying at the hotel.

The first sign of trouble was when I could not find the hotel. When I called I was told that I should see the sign only to find out that the sign was not lit up at night. It was explained as a socket problem.
I can not adequately describe how bad this place was other than to say that please do not be fooled by the pictures! This was the dirtiest Comfort Inn property that I have ever stayed in over the years. The lack of security, as witnessed by the non-locking outer doors and the multiple broken locks on the room door only confirmed my suspicions that this property has had issues for a while. The stairway bannister was so dirty I would not touch it!
When I contacted the property I received an email from the owner stating that they were going to be doing renovations and that this takes time. There was no sign of renovations in August 2024 and this place should be shut down until it is thoroughly cleaned!

I had booked a multiday stay with my daughter and had to leave after the first night, it was that bad.
Because we were going to be there a few days I wanted to get a "suite" assuming there would be at least a real refrigerator, sink, and some dishes. However what we got was 4 kitchen cabinets (empty and dirty), a small dorm fridge, and a small microwave. Basically the same thing that is in a non-suite room. The entire "suite" label is a farce.
There were stains on the floor, the coach cushions had tears, the mattresses were old, uncomfortable, and had a coffee stain down the side (at least I hope it was coffee). The fixtures and alarm clock were filthy and I didn't want to touch them.
We had a first floor room next to the I-87 off ramp and, when I opened the window to try to get the awful musty odor out, I saw the screen was cut top to bottom (safety issue!) and cigarette butts were on the ground outside. It's tough to capture the true repulsiveness of the smell in a review.
If we didn't get there so late that first night I wouldn't have stayed the night. We checked out (fled really) the next morning. Awful experience.

Filth starts with elevator, despite covid has never been wiped down. Upon colplaining to manager responed "Stay someplace more expensive". No pool. no ice machine, breakfast less than a joke. OJ was 90% water. If you want hot breakfast you can microwave crappy danish that could be a star in the NFL.

Hotel is in a great central location with easy access to everything. Many restaurants and stores nearby. Staff is friendly, extremely helpful and accommodating. Jacuzzi rooms are large and spacious and the jacuzzi tubs are very relaxing.

I’m a Covid first responder. Booked a room here while on assignment. Didn’t get past the front desk before the male attendant began giving me a difficult time, threatening to cancel my pre-paid reservation, and literally laughing at my distress about losing said reservation. When I say laughing, it was a mocking quality that took glee from another person’s plight. The issue was that I was traveling with my husband’s credit card and, because my name didn’t match the name on the card, he literally went out of his way to make my life more difficult. This was after the end of a 13 hour shift hours from home and before yet another shift. My husband even called his credit card and they said that it was not a big deal, he’d just have to fill out an authorization form and they’d authorize the $50 hold that was the barrier. The front desk attendant threatened to refuse check in but not refund me my money ($400 USD). And then he’d laugh at me and walk away. I was ugly crying at this point because I couldn’t understand what all was happening when I asked to escalate the issue. This guy throws his business card onto the counter and says with a nefarious smirk, “I am the manager. And don’t worry, I’ll be including my side in the notes on your account.” I wish there was a video because it was such an abusive situation that I wouldn’t believe it unless I saw it. I will never stay at a Quality Inn again. Don’t waste your time.

Thank you for sharing your recent experience. Im happy we were able to provide an early check in however we do require a valid card at check in. We were unable to use the card in your procession since it did not have your name on it. We have strict credit card policies that merchants need to obey.

We booked for one night in a room with 2 beds for 4 people in total. Front desk decided to “upgrade” us to a room with only one bed because they overbooked us and were out of rooms. Management were not helpful, and the place looked like a 300 year old dorm room. Laundry bag was used and we tried cleaning a small stain on the floor, but the towel came up dark brown. So, the whole floor was a stain. Whatever price you’re paying, it’s not worth it.

I’m usually not one to scoff at a cheap hotel room- I can get by with the basics, but this place was truly horrific. The entire place is so outdated and smells of cat pee and weed are very strong the second you walk in. Every inch of the carpet in the hallways and room was stained and ripped. Things in the room were scratched, dented, and broken. The smells, oh my, the smells…were so questionable. If I hadn’t checked in exhausted at 1:30 am I would have gone somewhere else. People are living here and there is personal junk in the hallways. Do not stay here!!

I would suggest calling the hotel, but most places I've stayed open the pool from about 8:00 or 9:00 AM to about 9:00 or 10:00 PM.
