Just spent two nights at this lovely establishment and am about to book a return visit. We were just looking for a place close to Oneonta for a college drop-off, and this was suggested by multiple booking sites. We love B&Bs, so figured we'd give it a try, even though it meant sharing a room with our college student on... More

I have stayed here during all four seasons for the past few years and have always had an excellent experience. The rooms and common areas are meticulous, the owners very friendly and eager to accommodate, and breakfast is fantastic. The bonus here is an off the beaten path location that is more quiet than the traditional B & B located... More

The sign when you walk in says, "Arrive as Guests; leave as Friends." It could not be a truer statement. Dave and Lori will make you feel at home from the time you cross the threshold of this lovely 19th century home. The rooms and common areas are decorated in Lori's unique and eclectic style, and the front porch is... More

My son was participating in the tournaments in Cooperstown so I needed a place to stay. The local hotels really charge a lot this time of year, especially for a single parent on a tight budget. While researching accommodations I found Brookside Inn At Laurens and was very pleased with the prices quoted over the phone so I booked immediately.... More

Brookside Inn at Laurens is truly a hidden gem! My mother and I stayed for one night for a trip to Edmeston and Cooperstown, NY and needless to say it was picture perfect. With the elegance of the old home brings new age conveniences such as wifi and cell service (Verizon.) Upon arrival, Lori greeted us with a warm and... More

Dave and Lori were very pleasant. This was our first bed and breakfast experience and we will be hunting them out in the future. The room was clean and nice. Fluffy towels, wine and chocolate upon arrival, water in the fridge, snacks and coffee available. The veranda was so nice to sit on outside and the breakfast was delicious. The... More

Lori and Dave have created a special experience. Dave has poured his decades of experience as a craftsman into renovating this estate that was originally built in the 1800s. He also makes some mean blueberry pancakes. Lori is the most warm caring and entertaining host that you will find. We stayed for a week and Lori made us feel at... More

Brookside Inn B&B was a great place to spend the night on our way up to the Adirondacks. Our room was spacious, cheerful and clean and came supplied with a little wine and chocolate and a whole basket of towels and robes to wear to the bath we shared with one other room. The bed was a perfect mix of... More

My husband and I stayed here for a week while our son played baseball at the Cooperstown All Star Village which is only 5 minutes down the road.
