We always enjoy staying at Sandy Point Motel in the central Adirondack Mts of New York State. It is an eleven unit Motel with all the amenities needed to enjoy a mountain experience. The rooms are always very clean, comfortable and attractive with a nice screened in porch overlooking the lake. The view from your room is spectacular. There is...

A nice enough place for a sort stay. The decor is straight out of the 70's and could use an update. The bed was not the most comfortable, but I've encountered worse. Most importanty, the place was clean. The owner seemed nice. Good lake view from the rooms. There is also a very nice beach for guests to use. Kayak,...

One of the most enjoyable experiences was upon our arrival, we were greeted warmly by the couple who own and operate the Sandy Point Motel. They were very friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean with a wonderful view of the lake. The owner even went out of his way to get a pamphlet about the area and dropped...

What a nice little motel! Not everything you could ever wish for, but good enough! The rooms are clean and compact and have a nice screened-in porch. The bedspreads are really pretty too! There are no phones in the rooms (payphone outside) and the internet is a little spotty at times, but overall, it's nice. We stayed in a kitchenette...

Great place on Long Lake. Owners treat you like long lost relatives. Beach access is great, walk down a ramp. Parking is old school right outside your room. Pricing can't be beat. Wonderful traditional upstate motel

We booked a last minute trip to Long Lake based on a friends recommendation, and landed at this motel based on the trip advisor reviews. Our experience was consistent with what others have said, the motel itself is simple and somewhat dated, but very clean and well kept. Owners are extremely nice and accommodating.

After coming to Long Lake Camp parents' weekend for three summers now, this was the third motel we have tried. I think we finally have a winner! The owners are super nice and made sure we had everything we needed. They were very accommodating. The motel is very clean and fairly updated. The patio with lake view is great and...

I've never done an Adirondacks trip. This motel was dated but the grounds and room were exceptional clean and I'm a freak about that. They even raked the beach. There is no way to cook anything except on the charcoal grill at the beach. There is a dorm fridge in the room. Local restaurants were fine and kept good hours....

This is an older property that seems very well kept up. My room was exceptionally clean. The rooms have screened porches that over look the lake. The beach area is sandy and has floating docks and a swimming area. No air conditioning which is the norm in this area. The owner was very helpful and let me into my room...

The view is amazing from every room. We slept with the sliding glass door open all night and woke to the haunting sounds of the loons over the lake. The rooms are small and quaint but very clean and all we needed. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Water pressure was surprisingly good for an older motel. We will...
