Around the corner from Storm King Art Center in gorgeous rolling farmland the Storm King Lodge is a converted historic barn. Casual, warm, quiet, comfortable with elegant touches in the high ceiling beamed great room with big couches, long dining table, huge windows and grand piano. Beautiful outside covered deck. Totally enjoyed my brief stay and chatting with Hal and...

We just spent two night at the Storm King Lodge, a fun place, very homey with delightful guest and host. The breakfast was so well done, papers available and very enjoyable conversations. Very low key and relaxing. Highly recommended.

Staying at Storm King Lodge B&B was comfortable and enjoyable. Hal was a fun host and whipped up some great blueberry pancakes. We even got to watch the first presidential debate in the large living space with snacks provided by the owners! The location was perfect for a visit to Storm King Art Center and the Roosevelt homes.

It's a very clean, elegantly furnished, very comfartable place with a beautiful garden and a pool as well. Getting together around the table at breakfast with all others is a different atmosphere. Hal, thanks for the hospitality and the great food!

We spent one night at the lodge and were really pleased with all aspects of our experience. We began our stay with jolly greetings from Hal and a helpful conversation about restaurants and sights in the area. The Inn is absolutely charming and located on a truly lovely piece of property, replete with a view of mountains, a swimming pool,...

Such a comfortable lodge. It felt so homey: with books, magazines, and newspapers available. Also many brochures on things to do in the area. Hal was so helpful in suggesting ideas that enhanced our visit. Kykuit (the Rockefeller home) and Union Church are a must, as is nearby Storm King Sculpture Park. The views over the lodge's quiet grounds were...

Our stay in the cottage was awesome, the a/c works great and the cottage was stocked with all the household items you would ever need. The pool was fantastic and Hal and his family were gracious hosts. This was the perfect birthday weekend getaway with my wife and 3 year old son.

Set aside 1.5-3 hours if renting bikes, and a minimum of 2-3 hours if you are walking. There are many acres to explore, so realistically it is a half day excursion. We enjoyed renting bikes and we brought a picnic in a backpack for ease, but be aware that there is a fairly long wait for bikes. We arrived ~1pm,...

We stayed in the cottage right next to the pool. A wonderful location, beautiful scenery, relaxing, and peaceful! Hal and Gay are two of the sweetest people we've met on our travels; very accommodating and lovely to chat with, both are very funny! The breakfast was amazing: the best granola ever, scrumptious french toast and crispy bacon!

We visited for the second time, last time in the main lodge house and this time at the lovely pool house with the wonderful pool. Hal our gracious host made a delicious and filling breakfast both days we were there. In addition we were entertained by his trumbone playing Our stay was a real treat and our host Hal made...
