This is our second stay here in two months as we had to return the second time for a family funeral, unfortunately. But we thought of the Sonesta right away because we were so comfortable here the first time. We checked reviews at every hotel in the area and this was the only one that had good/great reviews. They have everything you need here, even if you want to do a little cooking. We were able to prepare breakfast. They have a small stove, all utensils. Ricky at the front desk was especially helpful to me! When I returned home, I realized I had lost an earring and asked if he could check for me. It was my favorite pair of earrings and I was sure it was gone forever. After the current patron checked out, he kindly went to search the room and found my earring! Hotel's Favourite
After a horrible experience from a nearby hotel we were able to get a room at Sonesta for our return trip from Atlantic City. They don't usually offer one night reservations but when Jennifer asked about our needs we explained about our bad experience and canceled reservation. Jennifer was able to confirm a room and we were very pleased with everything at the facility. We would definitely return if we were in the area again.

This is a great place to stay! From the moment we registered with Ricky, (who was fabulous) to the excellent very clean room, we enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is fully stocked and it has a nice room size fridge. There was dish soap and scrubbiest in the kitchen cabinet, bathroom toiletries, iron and hairdryer.Located near a Target, the mall, and grocery.

This hotel allows dogs which is a big plus. The staff and people you meet here are friendly. It’s a great hotel if you stay as a long stay, which is more then a week. Your room is throughly cleaned every week.

I stayed at the Sonesta for a couple nights while visiting family. The suite was clean and bed was comfortable. Definitely better than a 2 star. I arrived late and they verified who I was before letting me in the front door. ( they have a telephone that called the front desk and they buzzed me in the door). That made me feel safe. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

Clean! Wonderful staff! Cooked a wonderful Hamburger stew in the crockpot I borrowed from there cupboard! All kinds of appliances you can borrow from their "CUPBOARD". We always stay at a Sonesta Suites. We have stayed in Nanuet NY several times. Aldi's 10 minutes away!!! Comfortable room! We are repeat customers and find our stay very comfortable always!! All kitchen ware provided including a dishwasher, dryer iron and full size ironing board. Laundry room and gym all meticulously clean. Towels and wash clothes ample supply. Thickest and softest towels I have ever encountered in a hotel. Mattress comfortable and I slept well. Soft sheets also.

I recently stayed here for 6 months while working in NY area. The rooms are clean, functional and perfect for long term stays. The staff during my stay was super nice, always friendly and followed up with any stated issues. The management takes loud, obnoxious travelers very seriously and I can only think of a handful of instances over a 6 month period where noise was an issue requiring attention. I have not found this to be a "party" hotel.The gym/laundry area was clean and well maintained. Plenty of secure parking and close to Costco, gas and local grocery stores with a giant mall just down the road. Access to the city and surrounding areas could not be easier. I have stayed here several times and will definitely stay there again.

This is absolutely the worst managed IHG property I have ever stayed at. Rude, uncaring staff. Yes, Dannielle, I see you have been mentioned by name in other reviews. Check out the Yelp Reviews. I'm amazed that ownership is either unaware or just doesn't give a rat's petouti. The list of rude behavior could fill a book. Avoid like the plague

We set our thermostat to cool and it wouldn’t budge off 72. Mostly 74. And it would shut off unless it detects movement. The nights it got hotter. Not a good nights sleep. Bed and room were great. Just the air was HOT! Shame
