This is a standard sleep over hotel. Nothing fancy. Room was clean and didn’t smell too much like smoke. Complimentary breakfast is a definite skip unless they fix the fruit fly issue. The staff at the front desk are a bit elusive. Yelling HELLO I would like to check out seems to work after a few minutes. Staff is nice enough when you do interact though.

Greeted by friendly smiles at the desk. I needed some toiletries and received a complete set of everything which was very helpful. Room smelled fresh and was very clean. I’ve stayed several times here and it’s always the same positive experience

What I liked: Bren was very nice and helpful from the moment we walked in. The pool was heated. The hotel was conveniently located near shops and restaurants.

What I didn't like: I don't know if some of this is reflected upon the whole Covid-19 thing, or a regular occurance. There was no breakfast. The pool smelled like when you fart in a wet swimsuit. Bren told us we could have the pool from 7-8:30 but the other employee kicked us out at 8. The elevator always smelled like pot. Our first night, the people on the other side of us had a young kid carrying on passed midnight. Yelling, banging against the wall and the TV was blaring. I called the front desk and they promptly took care of it. They only gave us 2 towels and one wash cloth for a room for 4 people. No one came to clean. In fact, check out wasn't until noon and the cleaning lady walked into our room at 9 am while I was still sleeping.

We had a very pleasant day at this hotel this past weekend. The room was clean, the hotel was accommodating, checking went smoothly, and everything went very well. We would definitely use this hotel again when we are visiting the area in the future.

We stayed one night for a funeral in Spring Valley. It was a last minute reservation, but it was a good choice! Very nice welcoming foyer with coffee and tea available all day/night. The rooms are modern and up to date with many USB outlets and plugs, microwave, fridge, coffee maker. The bathroom was roomy, clean and modern with lots of counter space. Continental breakfast was extensive and very good. Unfortunately, like most hotels, the lighting in the bathroom is never very good. However, it won't diminish my review one bit.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The morning we checked out, a small glass item of ours broke on the floor. I went to the front desk to ask for a broom and dustpan, and they said housekeeping could give me one “later.” I returned to the front desk again to ask for these items, and the employee said not to worry and that housekeeping would take care of it. That evening, I saw 2 charges on my debit for $250. The hotel had sent a receipt timed 1:19 pm with a charge for $250. I called the hotel and was told that I was charged because “the room was trashed” and “there was broken glass on the floor.” I called Hilton Guest Assistance multiple times and the next day was able to talk to the Operations Manager, Erica. Erica had so many stories my head is spinning. The front desk person had told me housekeeping had gone in around 1:30, then Erica said it was “right after we left,” then said it had to have been after 12. She and the front desk person said that the second charge for $250 was added because the cleaning fee is $500. No one had any explanation for why my card was charged again and I was never notified or sent an updated receipt. Erica accused me of staining the mattress and sheets. I made the beds and never saw the mattress , so I’m not sure what it looked like before. She of course had no before picture. She insisted I was accusing the hotel staff of trashing my room and accused me of “putting words into [her] mouth.” When I asked her about the timing, she kept saying it didn’t matter. Of course it matters! Who knows what could have happened after I left? Asking about timing is perfectly reasonable! I explained I was not accusing the hotel staff of trashing the room; all I knew was how I left it, and the story was odd and missing key evidentiary details. She finally sent a video that she claims shows that I damaged this particular room, but what is strange is that the video only shows the room from past the entryway. She was essentially asking me to prove my innocence, but I don’t have access to the information I would need to prove my innocence! What I suspect, though of course I cannot prove it and am not accusing anyone in particular, is that someone saw that I paid with a debit card and used that vulnerability to charge me inappropriately. Whatever the case, DO NOT STAY HERE.

I writing to you about our stay at the Hampton Inn Nanuet room 307 8/8/2020 to 8/9/2020 . I made my reservation on the Hilton app and requested a 3:00pm check and we did not arrive till about 6pm and upon arrival they could not give me a room stating computer problems and I do understand that they had storm in area days before so I said I will go out for ice cream came back did not get to check in till 8pm.Upon going to our room and looking forward to the whirlpool tub could not wait to get in and relax but upon entering the room I was very disappointed the room was not cleaned garbage in the cans dirty towels in bathroom ,sink looked to have dried coffee in it ,used soap in shower and bathroom sink and jets in whirlpool tub looked they were not cleaned in months.
I did let the front desk know and stated they had no other rooms available and could bring me clean towels had to wait over and hour for the clean towels.
We tried calling other hotels they were booked and it was late .So we got a blanket from are car and laid it over the bed even though the bed looked made was not sure if the bedding was clean.There was not even a to go breakfast offered It did not even have the lysol fresh stickers any where.

We stayed 2 nights. The first night the A/C was not working in the room provided and after we had requested to be switched to a different room, the receptionist said there were no other rooms available, and no solution was offered.
The second night we had requested our room to be cleaned and when we had came back after leaving the room for more than 8 hours, the room was not cleaned. We had also requested the A/C to be fixed before we got back from our event, which was not. We then again requested to be changed to another room because of the A/C, and we had been changed to another room with mold in the bathroom. I took photos and a video. The staff was completely useless, and did not seem to care that we could not sleep comfortably without A/C.

I spent one night in the Hampton Inn in Nanuet, NY. My stay was absolutely terrible. Upon entering the room, my husband and I noticed the room was extremely cold. We attempted to turn the heat on to warm us up. Considering it was 35-40 degrees outside we did not want the air conditioning on. In looking at the thermostat it was already set to 85 degrees but cold air was blowing out of the vents. After turning the unit off and then back on a few times and noticing no change we decided to call the front desk. Upon answering the phone, the receptionist was extremely rude and condescending regarding my concerns. I requested either a new room or someone come fix the unit. The receptionist simply said “ok someone is coming up” and hung up the phone. Not concerned at all. After approximately 10 minutes someone comes to our door to “fix” the unit. He turned it off and turned it back on and claimed it was fixed. I informed him that I feel cold air coming from the vents and he proceeded to say “no it’s hot” as if I’m unable to determine the difference from hot and cold. He then left the room and that was it. The front desk made no attempt to check on us to see if our matter was fixed which it was not. My husband and I were left to sleep in two pairs of pants, two shirts and pullover hoodies in order to not freeze as temperatures fell in the 20s overnight. Due to the incredibly cold room and disgustingly dirty vents, we are both severely congested and sick. I am absolutely disgusted by this stay. Being an honors member for more than a decade and to be treated like this is ridiculous. As a Hilton brand hotel I expected way more. No one should be subject to this type of treatment when they are spending money on what has been advertised as a quality stay. I will reconsider staying in any Hilton hotels in the future if this is the treatment I will face as a guest.

Service was horrible, waited a half hour for a counter person 3 rooms later I finally got into a decent room and even the counter to the nightstand was dirty … at 1:30 am… the people next to me were noisy… then I got woken up by the desk person calling the wrong room… then I get woken again at 3:00 from noise again. Then I get billed improperly… was told I had to wait till the next day for a manager to fix it, and they’ll send a new receipt. Guess what never came…. I’ve stayed at this hotel many times, however this was the worst hotel stay in my life!!!! And I live in hotels for like 6 weekends straight due to my job.

I did receive an Email from the Manager of Hotel AFTER I posted this review - They told me they were issuing me a refund check for the room - I told them when I get the Check I will edit or remove the review - Not Planning to stay there anymore as well!
