We enjoyed our 1 day stay. Our granddaughter used the pool. We enjoyed the breakfast and the location near the Highway and New Paltz. It was very cold in the hallways as if it were summer and we had to turn on the heat in our rooms because it was freezing in our rooms when we arrived.

We enjoyed a clean room, friendly staff and wonderful free breakfast each morning. The location was perfect for our leaf peeping vacation and got to enjoy free cookies when we came "home' in the evenings.
With current COVID restrictions I felt they did a good job with sanitizing and had wipes by the elevator. They offered rooms service on request and brought clean towels quickly when requested.
The breakfast was a small but nice variety with hot foot options as well as basic cereal and yogurt.
We would highly recommend this property and commend their staff for the work they do.

We stayed four nights and felt very comfortable with all the safety protocols in place for Covid. Amazingly, the breakfast was wonderful: individually wrapped hot meals as well as an array of yogurts, fruit, bagels, etc. Housekeeping only visits your room when you want them to (to reduce contact). The hotel is beautiful and looks newly remodeled. The front desk was very friendly and helpful as this was our first visit to the area.

This hotel is a very short drive from SUNY New Paltz. It has many amenities you would expect from a Hilton property but there are shortcomings.
On our first night when taking a shower my wife noticed the water wasn’t draining in the shower and mentioned it to me. I then took a shower and noticed the draining issue however after a couple minutes the draining issue turned into more as what looked to be fecal matter started rising from the drain slot. I rinsed off as quickly as I could and went to the front desk to inform the person working. She was with a customer and asked what I needed. After telling her the details she said she would be up to check it after taking care of the customer. I went up to the room and waited. It was late at that point but stayed awake for her to arrive. An hour later I went down to the front desk again but the same customer was still there. I went back up to the room at what was now nearly midnight. She never came up.
The next morning the shower was in the same situation. Brown-tinged water would rise out of the drain. On our way out I said something to the person working the front desk and she said it was noted for housekeeping to check and that she would also reiterate it to housekeeping. When we returned, I could see that the shower had no been touched as the stains were still there and debris that had washed up was still in the shower floor. I then went back down to the front desk and told the person working who was the original person told. I told her again that we were taking a shower with poop. She said she expected housekeeping to take care of it.
Our showers the next morning were quick. The shower filled with water to the point of nearly overflowing within a couple minutes. At the time we checked out no one had come by the room from housekeeping or maintenance to check the shower after we had informed them no less than 3 times of the problem.

We just spent two nights here and, I've got to tell you, I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting much in a Hampton Inn right off of the Thruway in New Paltz but I was dead wrong. Very nice staff, an extremely clean and well kept hotel and a large room with an even larger bath. A breakfast that lasted until 10:00AM and outside grounds where you can sit out on a park bench and enjoy the night sky without any concern. Well done Hampton Inn!

This property's manager actually had the gall to call me and at the last minute no less to tell me that they were in fact cancelling my reservation. They actually laughed about it when they claimed that the confirmed rate was a glitch and that they would not be honoring it. I asked that they show me where exactly in our agreement did it say that they could do this and while I did not get an answer from them, Hilton admitted that this was in fact a breach of contract.

Made an overnight stop on our way to Long Island. I have had some poor experiences at other Hampton Inns in the past so I was not expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised!! Upon arrival, I was greeted by a young lady named Krista. She had a great smile, was extremely friendly and very helpful. She offered me water while she was attending to my check in and I immediately felt like I made a good decision to stay here. The hotel common areas were clean and nicely decorated. The room was also very clean and comfortable. There was a nice complementary breakfast set up in the morning, as well as grab and go bags if you preferred to get right back to your travels. The woman who checked me out was also friendly and sincere. When she said, I hope you enjoyed your stay, I believe she truly meant it! I will definitely stay at this hotel again. It was an enjoyable experience.

Clean and decorated nice. Comfy bed. Good breakfast with make your own waffles and eggs and sausage and cereal. Juices and hot coffee. Coffee maker in room with regular and decaf. Tea drinkers, like me, must bring own tea bags if you want tea in room.
Now the weird.
Checking in the clerk was oddly robotic. No hello, just monotone asking questions and asking for card. Felt very odd, maybe an off day? The room, we must have gotten a handicap room which is spacious and lots of grab rails and open spaces. But, No shower curtain, shower was missing the handle. Bathroom is huge I must say.
In all a comfortable stay with restaurants all within a 5 min drive.

I booked this hotel for my husband and work crew while working at the New Paltz Fairgrounds. The hotel is conveniently located just off 87. There is a great Italian restaurant next door and grocery store across the street. The rooms are spacious and clean. Margaret at the Front Desk is a real delight and was very helpful with any request that was made.
We booked for 1 week and had to extend for a few more days. The booked rate was honored for 1 additional night but the 2nd night (a Saturday) the rate went from $129 to $195. It's a busy time of year in this area, but most hotels would honor the booked rate or at least find some middle ground. With that said, we checked out and didn't even stay the 1 additional night; instead moving to a different hotel down the road.

Hotel and hotel staff were great. The breakfast provided was fit for purpose and tasty. If I had to say something needed improvement it would be the couch in my room. It needed a thorough cleaning and parts of the wall needed some touch up paint, but other than that everything was great and I would recommend a stay here.

There are several taxi's that are at the bus station and and they charge about $5 for in town rides.
We are about a mile or two from they bus station.
