Our starlit soak in the hot tub after a day's drive was even more delightful because of the snow-covered surroundings. The guest house has been made into a piece of artwork with beautiful touches everywhere. Comfy room, friendly hosts, yummy nutritious vegan food. All great.

The Sage Room is beautiful. The house was very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. There is a fireplace in the center of the house that added to its charm. Also, the hot tub was ready when we arrived. It was a magical experience being out in the hot tub on a starry, cold, windy night. Petra made a vegan breakfast...

This is an absolutely awesome home with equally awesome hosts. Classy, clean, well-maintained, spacious, secluded! The All-Vegan, gluten free Breakfast was quite delicious; in fact our 4-yr-old son also ate the zucchini pancakes (served with apple sauce and mixed greens) We cant wait to go back !

Sad that we only stayed one night on this trip because it was a lovely experience. Petra and Mike make you feel right at home in their home. We were the only ones there this one night so it was a bit more special. Really appreciated the time Petra took to draw us a map to a nearby apple orchard,...

I visited Hungry Ghost in April 2016 and had an incredible stay. The house is welcoming and clean, the food is delicious, and Petra and Mike are wonderfully nice people. It's a great destination for triathletes! There are tons of places to run and bike, and there is an endless pool in the basement for swim technique lessons. Also, the...

I came to stay with my best friend in March, 2016 and was absolutely blown away by the hospitality, cleanliness, comfort, and FOOD. The bed was a cloud- we couldn't wait to sleep each night after our long days hiking (amazing recommendations given by Petra), delicious vegan dinner from downtown New Paltz, vegan gourmet chocolates from Lagusta's Luscious in NP,...

I stayed here in mid-March with my best friend. We had an absolutely wonderful time--Petra and Mike are so welcoming, kind, and personable! Everything from the linens to the breakfast to the hottub under the stars was more than we could have imagined. We had no idea that the New Paltz downtown area was so vibrant and full of great...

We stayed at this lovely B&B for an overnight and enjoyed every moment. There were 3 of us (2 adults/1 child) and we stayed in the upstairs room. The room was lovely, clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. As our child slept we sat in the outdoor hot tub under the stars. Magical. Petra even provides bathrobes and flipflops!...

My stay at the Hungry Ghost was so perfect in every aspect - the hosts, Petra and Mike, the accommodations, the optional outside shower, the location to town and Mohonk and hiking trails, and the setting. The hosts made me feel so welcome, I felt like their personal guest and friend. And the food! Whether you are vegan or not,...
