This is our third visit and I must say it never disappoints! The Inn is a gem! Beautiful and the hosts, Robert and Michael treat you as family. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The bedrooms are lovely and comfortable. Breakfast is divine and ample. You won't need lunch. The view from the patio is breathtaking. New Paltz is a fun town with enough restaurants to enjoy and your hosts will give you great advice. The hiking trails are nearby and as easy or difficult as you choose. Thank you again!

Just came back from another magical stay at the Inn at Kettleboro. We have stayed here many times. Each time has been phenomenal. Robert and Michael are the most incredible hosts. They make you feel like family. Our room was beautiful and so clean. The Inn itself is spectacular with panoramic views of the fall foliage and the mountains. Robert prepares breakfast that is so memorable. This is the perfect getaway if you are looking to relax. Michael and Robert are so knowledgeable about the area. Each time we go we learn of different places to visit. Thanks for such a great weekend!!

We met friends in the Hudson Valley area and they picked the Inn at Kettleboro. What a great choice. We are serious travelers and would say this is one of our all-time favorite places to stay. The first thing we noticed was the spectacular view from the open kitchen and patio. WOW. The view alone makes it worth staying there. The hosts, Bob and Michael, were warm and welcoming. They were there to greet us, to help us with making choices for things to do, and to suggest restaurants. They gave us a real sense of the area. We came much earlier than the stated check-in time but as the room was ready, they happily accommodated us to check in when we arrived. The Inn was built in 1830 and was beautifully renovated by Bob and Michael about eight years ago. The decorating is gracious and warm, with beautiful artwork scattered perfectly among the rooms. Breakfast is included, and what a meal! Fresh fruit, eggs, sausages, French toast, roast potatoes, bakery items, and coffee and juice. That is just one morning's fare. The Inn is a real find. We definitely plan on coming back often. Jill

Wow- what a warm, welcoming, beautiful B&B. Robert and Michael were the perfect hosts- the house and grounds are impeccable- the breakfast was amazing and plentiful. Enjoyed our evenings on the patio with other guests and our hosts drinking wine, watching the sunset and having great conversations. The Inn at Kettleboro is a real gem- will definitely be back!! Thank you for your hospitality. Suzann

Wonderfully restored building owned and operated by Robert and Michael who have deep roots in the community. The views from the back patio are incredible. Robert makes an excellent breakfast and New Paltz offered several good options for dinner. There is plenty to do in the area. We stayed one night in July and then spent the next day at the Roosevelt Museum in Hyde Park - just 30 minutes away. Great area for hiking and biking. I especially appreciated Michael's suggestions on bike route to connect to the Hudsoon River Trail. We are already planning a return trip.

My family and I had a family reunion at the Kettleboro Inn and had a wonderful time! We all hated to leave. Robert and Michael are fabulous hosts. We now feel like we have new friends. The Inn is gorgeous with beautiful scenery all around. The rooms are very comfortable. The breakfasts Robert prepares and serves are an absolute delight! I highly recommend it! You won’t be disappointed.

Wow! I didn’t know I had these two old friends, Michael and Robert, living in New Paltz until my wife and I stayed in their Bed & Breakfast, The Inn at Kettleboro, in October 2021. We must be old friends somehow even though we never met prior to my wife and I staying there for the first time. How else to explain how absolutely comfortable we were made to feel, how amazing the hospitality was and how well fed we were. You can read the already posted and many great reviews which describe how beautiful and well-maintained the house is with its breath-taking mountain views from the patio and fantastic breakfasts served in a bright cafe. But above all those pluses is the fact that Michael and Robert welcome you into their home as friends. You get rich conversation and knowledge concerning the history of the home, about the New Paltz and Hudson Valley area, personal anecdotes and just genuineness. Breakfast is a lingering affair, enjoying Michael and Robert and the other guests and at the end of your stay you are sad to go and immediately thinking about when you can return. If you’re visiting the area, go meet up with your two new best friends at Kettleboro…you will not regret it.

It would be ungenerous to avoid writing a review to keep this marvelous place a secret but clearly the secret is out! I wrote a review myself when I visited last Fall. The Inn is handsome , comfortable and charming. The view of the mountains is spectacular. Robert's breakfasts are the finest. He and Michael are warm, generous hosts who make you feel at home and give you excellent advice with patience and enthusiasm . The hiking is fabulous. New Paltz is full of delicious restaurants and farm stands. The Inn is a special place to spend some time away from your daily routine and enjoy the beauty of Upstate New York.

We just returned from our stay at the Inn at Kettleboro and could not recommend it enough! We were in town for a wedding nearby and opted to stay here instead of the room block - we did not regret it for a second! From the moment you meet Michael and Robert, you are in for a very special treat. The property is beautiful and the inn is immaculate - complete with modern touches without losing its charm and heritage. The views are spectacular and you'll instantly feel relaxed once you step out onto the patio. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable, with a great bed and bathroom. The breakfast is to die for -- Robert takes into account any dietary restrictions and it's a true farm to table breakfast. We were glad they required proof of COVID vaccinations so you can feel even more comfortable during your stay. Would absolutely stay again and book without any hesitation. Robert and Michael are so lovely and great to talk to - they'll make you feel at home right away. Thanks again for the best time - we'll be back!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in late June and it was absolutely wonderful. First, we were greeted and got a lovely tour of the home. It's all perfectly decorated and beautiful. It was so nice to learn about the history. We stayed in the Braeburn room, which had a gorgeous view of the mountains from the bathroom. We were there on a Sunday-Tuesday stay and there was still plenty to do! We went on a great nature walk in Mohonk and had some delicious meals out. Robert's breakfast was DELICIOUS, thoughtfully laid out and savory + sweet options with fresh fruit and coffee. The inn is also impeccably clean and Robert + Michael checked in advance about vaccination status to make sure we would all be safe. The view is breathtaking and the hosts are unparalleled! We can't wait to visit again!
