The front desk was nice, room was clean, very quiet, I have no complaints. I always stop at the Red Roof Inn when I have a quick overnight stay in Newburgh. I'll most likely come again and hopefully I remember to stop by the pool, I always see guest having fun.
The older lady 70's was with her small dog and her room was apparently arranged, paid by the person who set the reservation. She was not able to easily register. She was visiting the area for a wedding. The counter person, middle age white man, treated her badly by making a big deal when she asked to use the phone to contact the person that set the reservation. She did not have a phone. She was finally able to use the phone, register and get her door card. Upon exisiting, her dog which was leashed was attack by an unleashed pittbull. The pittbull and their owners (will plainly state, white-trash family) where staying their per insurance paid stay, since their home was lost to fire. The attack was horrific, the pittbull latched on to her smaller 20 lbs good and the 50 lbs pittbull would not let go of the maulled face of the smaller dog. Aftet what felt like an hour, the pittbull was pulled off the other dog by the white-trash male, that also threathend other onlookers. Inparticular a young boy 14 y.o. that was taking phone video of the incident. The police were called, finally arrived and took another hour to resolve what to do about the pittbull that was now trapped between the set of lobby doors. My family was staying for a different wedding in the area. We had borded our young 6 month old dog, instead of bring it to the supposed pet friendly motel. So glad we did as we also checked in around the sametime as the other lady. From this experience, I will never stay at this location again, we could not find another place that day and did not sleep well. Could not wait to leave, we did so early. We will also never bring our dog to any pet friendly hotel, motel for this reason.…
Don't get why this place gets such good ratings. It's pretty gross. Don't want to walk on the rugs without shoes. Room smells. Internet barely works. It's gross. It's what you'd expect a Red Roof Inn would be. The ratings are deceiving.
Place needs updating. The pool (which is why we picked this place) is closed and black and breakfast is no longer provided (instead you pick up a brown bag at the front desk - mine hade a package of chocolate chip cookies and a bag of peanuts! The tv has no guide so you have no idea what is on. We were told upon check-in that "since you are staying 2 days there is no housekeeping, but you can get fresh towels from the front desk" . There is no safe in the room. Only bright spot is they provided free coffee which tasted good.
This hotel has met our expectations Jerrold and Ashley were friendly, professional and helpful !! The room was clean and up to date.... You will get what you pay for here... We will be returning for sure here when we travel in the Stuart Airport area! Thank You!
My son and I were having the worst week possible trying to move him from NY to Florida. Our living arrangements were terrible so I decided to get a hotel. Being disabled I needed special accommodations. When I was researching hotels in the area, I felt that Red Roof Inn was the choice. I was not disappointed. Daniel Fisher answered the phone and assured me that he would do everything in his power to meet my needs, which included arriving early and checking out past the 11 am timeframe. Upon arrival, Mr. Fisher guided me to my room that was the closest to the entrance. The room was a suite, that included two queen beds( extremely comfortable), a desk, and a small dining table. The room was spotless. I also needed some assistance with personal issues which Mr. Fisher, Gerald, and the rest of the amazing staff took care of. Daniel Fisher the general manager and his staff bent over backwards to help my son and I. We applaud and thank you !!…
My husband and I stayed one night as we were in the area for an event. The front desk staff was very friendly, owner was right there and available. Place smelled great, very clean! Quiet environment, very comfortable. Helpful staff, I would recommend and would stay here again if we happen to be in the area. They did not have breakfast available, but had coffee and beverages, that was not on them that was COVID related.
Excellent and very friendly staff! Highly recommend especially those with dogs 🐶. Very stressful trying to find pet friendly hotels and they make it amazingly easy and welcoming even gives dog biscuits
I stayed at the Red Roof Hotel in New Windsor New York for about a month and the place was amazing. Clean and the staff was always friendly and there for anything I needed. The housekeeping staff was also A1 and did a great job. The manager Daniel was great.
This hotel was the most reasonable priced of the under $100 per night hotels in Newburgh. It had good reviews posted BUT I was really nervous. It was an easy access and was really nice, clean and great staff. Stayed with another couple. No breakfast buffet due to COVID but coffee, tea, apple juice and orange juice available all day. Easy check in and out.
