I recently stayed at this hotel (Jan 1st-4th 2020) Upon arrival and check in I had a few problems. The 1st room I was given, the card did not work to open the room door. Catherine came to my aid and walked me to a new room. After a few minutes, I discovered that the toilet in this room did not flush. Once again Catherine immediately came to my rescue and found me an appropriate room. The rest of my stay was a good one. All of the staff were friendly, professional and helpful. However, Catherine was a stand out. For example, on my second day, I realized that I had lost my phone charger. When checking with the front desk for a possible replacement to borrow, Catherine went to her car and gave me her personal charger to use. In fact she would not be working on the morning of my departure and trusted me to return it to the front desk. In additon to being proficient in solving problems, this young lady went out of her way to make my stay problem and stress free. Her kindness was well appreciated and she deserves to be recognized. In closing, "GIVE CATHERINE A RAISE"!!!

I love this hotel, priced very reasonable for the area. Clean, quiet and safe. Just wish they offered free breakfast but for the price you can't beat it. A hot breakfast is available on order, you have to pay extra for it. It's a really nice hotel, maybe a little past its prime but has a lot of potential. Used to be a Marriott Four Points hotel, hope they can bring it back to its glory days again. I'd stay here again, 100%

Comfortable hotel at a great price.
Very nice and festive lobby area with fresh coffee available.
Room was clean.
Breakfast is available but for a fee. There is a diner within walking distance right next door.
Bar is not open yet. Once that is open it will be a great addition.
Front desk staff were friendly and helpful!
Will stay again for sure.

I personally would like to see at least some sort of morning grab and go complimentary breakfast for those staying for business.

Staying at a hotel during a pandemic can certainly be scary. Add to that a group getting together and that could be worse but the Sheraton was careful in all respects. The hotel is very compliant with the news rules and they made sure staff and guests were wearing masks in all common areas, which was very comforting.

When I called the Sheraton requesting help with group rates I was connected with Keri, who was amazing in assisting me. She not only held the rooms at a group rate, the rates decreased from the time I booked to when we actually stayed and Keri was able to adjust every room in the block without anyone having to contact her, saving every guest $65. Most of the group was in the same area of the hotel which made it easier to find each other. We did have a minor issue with a few rooms, but when it was brought to the attention of the staff, they move the couple, so as not to have anyone in their room. I gave my review an excellent rating, because I always expect something to go wrong in hotels, but this hotel was prepared for the group, allowed for early check-in and assisted us with all our needs and most importantly we felt safe.
Thank you Keri for all your assistance!

After a couple of recent getaways to New England and the Jersey Shore I decided to stay local, opting for a much closer to home option. Stayed here during recent heat wave last week, primarily to jump into a cool pool.

The professionalism of the entire front desk staff that I encountered (Brittany, Brianna, Geno, Shawn and Jose) at this hotel is top notch. So friendly and accommodating.

Well stocked pantry with cold drinks, heatables, snacks, etc available for a nominal fee.

Even with the Covid-19 restrictions in place the staff is extremely understanding that if the pool is being under utilized they will extend your scheduled pool time without hesitation, as long as they can do so safely. Really appreciated this as I was looking for a way to beat the heat with my 5-yr old grandson.

The rooms are what I would expect from a Sheraton brand with a good price point for a family outing. Looking forward to staying here again as my new home away from home.

Last weekend we wanted to tour wineries in the Hudson valley so we decided to book a room at this Sheraton and after spending two days there, I couldn’t be more excited to share this review with the public. The first day we were welcomed by Victoria. She was very pleasant and bubbly. We loved her energy and she even gave us some recommendations of wineries near by to check out. Our second day, we had the pleasure of meeting Cathy. What a breath of fresh air. Even with the mask on I could tell she had a constant smile on her face. My sister and her husband stayed at the hotel as well because they lost power from the storm and Cathy worked with them to try and secure a room for another night. I was so impressed with the overall service, kindness, and genuineness everyone had that I felt I had to share my experience. We are actually going back this weekend! The grounds were clean and pool/ courtyard perfect for relaxing and cooling off! If you’re ever in the area, don’t loss out on staying here! Great people and great service! Thank you Four Points!

I was in a King Room on the 3rd floor. The room was so clean and very welcoming and updated. The bed, sheets and pillows were so comfortable too! All the staff at the hotel were very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming.
The breakfast was amazing and very fresh. I had the 3 egg omelette and is was very reasonably priced and was very filling. It even came with warm mini doughnuts!
They do have a complimentary shuttle if you need it. I had my own car, but it is nice to know that they have one!
Overall, I would definitely stay there again. It was very affordable, the entire hotel is updated and super comfortable!

Basic Four Points, hit on all my needs, night staff don’t check the in app housekeeping requests but not a big deal as I got what I needed calling. Confusion between the night and day staff as to Elites getting free water bottles from the pantry. Good bar, not lively but its Newburgh not Manhattan so its not a mardi gras atmosphere. Room was comfortable , tv was huge. Better than a courtyard, manager Cathy was beyond helpful, great staff!

This hotel is absolutely disgusting. Dirty rooms, bugs, mold in shower. The staff has no idea what they’re doing and BEWARE of your bill once you leave. Booked a room for a wedding with a discounted room code only to find our credit card was charged 3x that price. When we called to ask what happened no one would answer the phone and when we finally got through after 45 minutes of being on hold, they refused to send us an itemized bill. Do yourself a favor, you’re better off sleeping in your car at a rest stop.

Conveniently located right off I-84 near Thruway and Stewart Airport not far from shopping and restuarants. Nice quiet hotel, very clean and well decorated. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Check in and check out were seamless and touchless to meet COVID-19 requirements.
