This is a good hotel. Maybe 3 1/2 not 4, but a good hotel. It's well designed and the rooms are a decent size. Nice size pool and enough beds. There is a gym and although the equipment looks as though it was designed by Noah, it's there and it's usable. It has a disco and it's own theater. On...

The hotel is right on the beach and we were lucky enough to get a room that was as close to the beach as it is possible to be (any of the rooms starting with 500 are right on the frontline). Food was excellent - loved all of the seafood!!!! Some of the staff were a bit hit or miss;...

My wife and I stayed in room 324 which looked uninterrupted onto the beach and the wonderful west coast of Boa Vista. Our stay was only marred by an issue in the room, which eventually was put tight, and a severe outbreak of mosquito's one evening after the long grass had been cut and the cut lawns had been watered...

Away is not the word because Boa Vista is another planet. Sand dunes, turtles in view right in the surf. Solitude, or spending time with the amazing locals, and the rich diversity of tourists just make for the best holiday we have ever had. Royal Decameron was a splendid hotel and what made it, along with the cleanliness and magnificent...

If you're looking for a holiday with nothing to do, nowhere to spend money, & need a rest away from everything, this is what this place offers. If you want peace & quiet its here as there's even a quiet pool area. The food is average but there's always something you will like as there's so much choice. On the...

We have just returned from the royal decameron having been earlier in the year we knew what to expect but I think it was better this time. The food had improved and everyone was friendly we met some lovely friends too. The flies in the 1st week were a pain but that's not the hotels fault it's because they had...

We stayed for a week with our son and his girlfriend and had a really lovely time, a few flies but nothing different to home really, apparently they are worse after rain. The food in the buffet was good some things better than others but we've had that at 4/5 star hotels! There were times when things didn't run smoothly...

Just got back after 2 weeks here. Hotel used to be self catering but is now all inclusive. Therefore you get 1 big sitting room with fridge, hob and bed settee. No air on though. Bedroom separate with air on and tv. Tv didn't work after 1st day but didn't matter as could only get news. Towels changed if you...

spent a week here 22.9.16 to .29.9.16. You really have to enjoy sunbathing as there are no shops, bars, resteraunts in the location..the beach is beautiful, the sea was very choppy whilst we were there. The staff were very nice, but beware of leaving tip for cleaner in your room..as the person who came to collect our luggage, asked for the...
