My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon at the beginning of April 2012 and we are so pleased we did. Boa VIsta is a gorgeous place and pretty much unspoilt. We walked from our beach view room down the beach on one occasion and passed only a handful of people and was able to scale most of the...

Stayed at this hotel in march with my wife. We were loking for a total relaxing break and was not disappointed. The hotel is superb, food top class, rooms are set out like a small village in the grounds of the complex, all with sea veiws, staff friendly, rooms cleaned daily. The island in very under developed and outside the...

I went to Royal Decameron at the end of March with my boyfriend for our anniversary. I had read some reviews about the resort before hand and had worried about the weather and there not being much to do. However these worries were completely unnecessary! The hotel resort was absolutely beautiful - built across large grounds in bungalow styles so...

Just had 2 wonderfully relaxing week at the royal dec and enjoyed every minute. Upon arrival at boa vista international airport you can see just how under developed the island is but this all adds to the charm. The hotel is very nice and clean although the rooms are in need of a little tlc but they are at present...

I read all the reviews for the hotels offered by Thomson and chose the Royal Decameron. We were extremely glad. We were given a sea view suite on the sea shore room 508. This room was located in a fantastic spot. The room itself had basic furnishings but it was comfortable and cleaned every day. Contrary to many reports we...

My wife and I visited this Cape Verdean island as part of our Ruby Anniversay celebrations and certainly wasn't disappointed. The food, accommodation and location was very much to our liking as was the weather. We are not great sunbathers so the breeze, which can be quite stiff at times, was not much of a problem to us and made...

What a fab place. The airport in definately different. The hotel is very clean and the staff are all very friendly. We were greated with a very warm welcome, and a nice cold drink. This is the place to go if you just want to relax, as there is nothing there to do, just what the doctor ordered. Our room was...

I was a little unsure about Boa Vista because of the reviews i had read. When we got off the plane it had an open air airport ! It was different. The Royal DeCameron was very clean and a very relaxed warm and friendly hotel. Our room was clean and simply furnished (they are refurbishing them at the moment). The...

It is stretching the grammar to talk of "warm gentle breezes" as it is downright unpleasant and bordering on strong winds, permanent Red flagged beach, so no going in the water, hotel pool too cold for comfort. Although not anti French it is unfair not to know the numbers in advance, circa 70% with the remainder being Brits/German/African. Hotel mediocre...
