This simple but delightful hotel is centrally situated in Mindelo. All rooms are different and very clean. The rooms with harbour/seaview are lovely. These rooms all have a balcony with comfortable chairs. Take the rooms with a third bed (the suites), a little more expensive but they are spacy and give you the opportunity to escape the very wobbly matrass...

Stayed one night on route to Santo Antao, the reception staff were nice & friendly, suggested where we could have an evening meal nearby. Early breakfast was no problem, ideal location only a 5-10 minute walk to the ferry terminal, we were catching the 8am ferry over to the other island. The rooms were basic but clean, nice view over...

Perched on a hill overlooking the harbor and ferry terminal, this is a nicely located yet basic accommodation. Suites contain a double bed in the front room which faces the water, a single bed in the dark back room, and a spacious balcony. Nothing fancy but comfortable and clean. It is easy walking distance to the center of town and...

The hotel has lovely views overlooking Mindelo's harbour and the hills in the distance and up a short hill from the coast. The room was fine. It had the feel of a traveller's place rather than a holiday hotel. Like many places in Sao Vicente, French is useful as it more widely spoken than English and signs are more likely...

We found the hotel not very charming and a bit expensive for the services offered. The view is beautiful, but as there is no separations between balconies, you don't have much privacy: your neighbors can peep directly in your room from their balcony. Breakfast was decent but nothing exceptional. Following a lot of good reviews and the advice from our...

We have spent 1 night there before leaving early to get the ferry to Santo Antao. The room was simple and a little bit small but clean. We didn't have the view, one window was on the internal patio (with a neighbor smoking in front of it...) and the other window was directly on another building. As we were there...

Good budget option, well-located for catching boat to santo antao. Decent breakfast by low cape verdian standards. Good service, but some challenges getting by in english (cape verde seems to get increasingly francofile as one moves west). Good service. Not far from centre of town.

The location is quite nice, outside the noise of the city centre but still within walking distance. The residency lacks any charm, both at the building and room levels, but there are some nice touches here and there: patio for the breakfast (which is quite poor itself) or the individual terraces for front facing rooms. As is customary in this...
