We spent one night here in a junior suite. The room is average and has very poor sound isolation. We could hear people singing upstairs, and people staying in the next room woke us up complaining of the noise generated by upstairs. The ground is big, and it's right on the São Pedro beach. Guess this is a great place...

We have been to Foya Branca to end our time of exploring Cape Verde with a short beach break. As many others said before, this place has a lot of potential. The location is nice (small sandy beach) and the fascilities overall quite pleasent (good sized rooms, nice shower, well laud out). However, it feels rather forgotten, as the wide...

Stayed for a week. The hotel is 5 minutes from the airport, but the sound of aircraft is almost inaudible. The hotel has a large beautifully designed area that is in good condition. Exit the hotel is right on the beach, which is not equipped. Lovely fine clean sand, clear warm water. However, on the landward side almost constantly blowing...

Stayed October 2014. Decent room spoiled by A/C not working for 3 nights (of 5). Staff had inability to reasonably quickly fix the problem or properly understand what we needed. We asked for a fan to offset the worst or move to another room; this was refused and ended in heat rash for me. Asked to see senior management after...

We stayed for one night in this hotel, after a stay on Santo Antao. We wanted to stay at the beach (since we already visit the city of Mindelo for a few days). The beach is nice and from the room you have a nice view. Across the main entrance of the hotel there is a really nice restaurant, with...

stayed there for five nights last april. in 2013 we stayed for nine nights. not much has changed. only breakfast has improved somewhat. the hotel has a lot of potentials but totally unused. overpriced for what it offers and definitively not at all 4 stars the way it is operated now. this hotel urgently needs a manager who knows what...

Okay stay. The room was fantastic - spacious, sunlit, with a huge balcony where you can spend time reading. The illumination of the room is very beautiful and creative with 2 pretty blue night table lamps and a huge unusual wall lamp. The staff mostly fantastic - friendly, helpful and fun - real joy to communicate with. The beach is pretty...

We spent four days here on our island hopping holiday. A bit away from everything, but that was not a problem to us. We had a sea view room ....nice size room and bathroom. Good sized terrace with sunbeds. Very close to the pool and bar. It seemed strangely quiet....very few guests. More staff than guests. This meant that we...

We only spent one night at this hotel on our way to Santo Antao, but would love to stay there again! We arrived on a late/delayed flight from Sal (damn you TACV!) and was at the time very hungry and really needed some food. The restaurant had unfortunately closed for the evening, but "reopened" just to give us a much...

I’ve stayed a few days in March 2013 at this hotel. Overall, I can hardly accept the 4* category; perhaps a 3.5 (if this was possible) would be more appropriate, and I'm here rating as "average" because it is NOT "very good". It is very expensive for what is offered! Comparatively, you’d stay in Boa Vista island in a 5*...

“Other reviewers have mentioned poor soundproofing in their rooms. Ask for a top floor room when you check in. Tip for gay couples- you will automatically be allocated a twin room even if you've booked through an agent. If you ask they'll put the beds together (as all doubles are) - it's not a problem, it's just not on their radar.”
