Probably the most stunning view of the English channel you'll find in Normandy. Slept like a baby with the window open and the sound of the water gently lapping on the shore. The rooms are a little outdated and could use a refresher to match the room rate. Breakfast was fantastic. It would be a five star hotel if it was refreshed, AND most importantly, the management needs to invest in a proper WIFI service for the guests. The signal is there, but the bandwidth was surprisingly slow. Fix that, refresh the rooms and you got yourself a five star resort.
This is a pleasant older style hotel with commanding views over the town and sea. We stayed for four nights in a comfort room with sea view and it was perfectly OK. However, comfort does not apply to the two very upright wooden chairs provided. They are very uncomfortable! Two soft armchairs should have been in a "comfort" room. Bathroom was fine and the only other niggle is cardboard cups for coffee. China cups should have been supplied. Many other hotels we have stayed in this summer can do this despite Covid-19 precautions. Breakfast each morning was quite good but very expensive at €144 for two people. Otherwise, this was a nice place to stay. We were greeted very well on arrival. A very friendly lady checked us in and we were shown to our room by a friendly young man. On departure, we were checked out by a particularly unfriendly lady who did not bother to thank us, or ask us if we had a nice stay in the hotel, even though we had just paid her €1,500 which also included dinner on one night in the hotel restaurant, and also two cups of coffee at €15! Overall though we can recommend this hotel.…
Great room at the building at the entrance of the parking. Breakfast was okay but chaotic. There was no structure and the buffet was to small, people were pushing tot get there breakfast. Wifi was not available in the room
This place cannot beat the views of the cliffs. The hotel looks out over the city. It has an outside terrace that you can have coffee/or cocktails on. While sipping on the cocktails you can just watch the views. It has a beautiful restaurant. It also includes free parking— which is a big deal in that area.
Hotel with a beautiful view and we had a great dinner in the official/ main restaurant. Compliments to the chef! The 2 nd day we were booked in the alternative restaurant what is not at all recommended and/or comparable. Room 71 was very clean but small. Unfortunately we could not open the window until 9pm due to the smell of the kitchen, of the alternative restaurant, below.
