A' class hotel (4 stars) located in the best part and center of Fira/Thira, with breathtaking views of the Caldera-Volcano-Aegean Sea. Just a stone’s throw from Fira’s bustling centre and surrounded by some of the island’s finest restaurants, most vibrant cafes and night venues, shops, banks, bus and taxi stations, as well as the Archaeological Museum, Atlantis displays an even more valued asset: its direct access by car –an extremely rare privilege for Santorini’s visitors, who do not need to carry their luggage on the caldera to reach the entrance of their hotel. Conveniently situated right on a small square next to an imposing Cathedral, Atlantis boasts the best location in Fira! The hotel’s stunning location is ideally complemented with dazzling panoramic, uninterrupted views over the island, the Aegean Sea and, of course, the volcano and its famous caldera. The exteriors meld harmoniously with the soft and ethereal interiors decorated with little more than white walls and tiled floors, featuring vaulted double-height ceilings, sensational marble stairs and a unique pool with Jacuzzi framed by the hotel’s emblematic arches. In the same spirit, the hotel’s 25 guestrooms are minimally decorated with bespoke furniture and fine fabrics, adding a touch of sophistication to a truly unique experience.

Hotel Atlantis , Santorini
Pricey for a 4 star but location is everything on Santorini and Hotel Atlantis is in the main square in Thera and right on the edge of the caldera and if you have a balcony with the caldera view like we did then this is a perfect place to stay . Rooms are on the small side but well appointed , great shower , weak wi -fi signal but the staff keep the entire hotel spotless . Breakfast can be hit and miss especially with the fried eggs but overall a good choice especially on the salad side and the view from the dining room is awesome and we had no complaints . Hotel Atlantis is visible from almost everywhere in Thera and you walk out the front door to restaurants and cafes and you quickly find out that the better the view the higher the cost of everything but a street or two back from the main drag is where most locals eat and there is great choice there especially close to the bus station . I was very happy with my stay in Hotel Atlantis and would recommend it highly . The hotel staff are really nice and helpful but the reception staff are particularly welcoming and provide great assistance and tips on day trips, places to see , restaurants , taxis , buses and our five night stay was enhanced and added to by Peter , Eve and Dimitri who were fantastic .

The ATLANTIS hotel is above all excellently located in Fira, close to everything.
It is a hotel with 25 rooms, therefore on a human scale, which is very appreciable. The staff is attentive and smiling. Reception helped us several times with temperature calls to confirm our transfers.
We chose a room with a view of the sea (caldera = volcanic bay of Santorini): even if it is more expensive it is absolutely a must because we never tire of the view from the terrace! The rooms are simple but good with a smaller surface area on the sea side, but this is normal for this type of hotel located in the center.
It's certainly a little noisy outside (but less than in the center all the same), but can it be otherwise in Santorini!? It calms down in the evening, and to have silence you just have to close the window.
The continental breakfast on the terrace is very pleasant with a very wide choice.

Only small downside: the swimming pool in the basement: despite opening onto the bay, it is not one of the most unforgettable in Fira 😉.
In conclusion, I highly recommend this hotel.

I cannot recommend this property more highly. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Fira, room was very comfortable we stayed in the room with the Caldera side view and had a small balcony on one side where we could watch the sunrise and a huge balcony overlooking the Caldera and Fira street. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble and they made you feel very welcome. The terrace bar is the perfect place to watch Santorini's spectacular sunset.

This hotel is well positioned, close to the center of Fira, within easy walking distance of the shops and restaurants. The Hotel is accessible by road so it is perfect for a taxi to drop off and pickup. The Bus station is only a 5 minute walk down the hill and from there you can reach the rest of the island as all buses go through Fira.
I believe The Atlantis is the first Hotel ever to be built in Fira and it has kept the original style that some may feel outdated, but I prefer the authenticity. The Hotel was very well kept and clean, with a Beautiful lobby and a nice pool. Unfortunately there was no lift to go to the room which was a bit of an inconvenience.
The room was of adequate size with a comfortable bed, good linen and very clean. The room contained a Mini bar with 2 bottles of water and a bottle of wine, a water kettle with Tea and Coffee and a large wardrobe with slippers and bathrobes. The furnishings seemed dated but I find the traditional charm to be quaint. Having said that I thought the bathroom could do with a bit of updating preferably get rid of the bath in favour of a walk in shower. Toiletries were provided with Shampoo, Body Wash, Shaver and Cream , Loofah and Toothbrushes. Now we come to the rooms crowning glory, as you open your patio doors to be confronted by an absolutely breathtaking, panoramic view of the Caldera. We’ve seen the sunset in Santorini from various places around the island and IMHO the balcony is as good as anywhere to view it. That is why at sunset you will see lots of people gathered below and to the side of the Hotel to see it. Personally, I prefer the time just after sunset as it gets dark and the island lights up.
We picked this Hotel for its location and it was spot on and good value for a hotel on the Caldera . But, be sure to request a Caldera view with a balcony to enjoy the prime view.

You really can’t beat this hotel’s location. Five mins stroll from the bus station so you can explore the island, and right at the start of the “Caldera view” strip. The views from this hotel are stunning. Our room was clean and comfortable with a very generous balcony. You can start your day having a relaxed delicious breakfast overlooking the Caldera, and then explore Fira on foot from the hotel’s prime location. All the staff are incredibly friendly too. A real delight. My only quibble would be that the Wi-Fi needs an upgrade.

An excellent hotel, in the best location! The hotel has kept the classic and vintage style, with simple decorations that may seem outdated, but everything is perfectly functional and impeccably clean! The central bus station of the island is a few minutes walk. The rooms are of optimal size, the bed is very comfortable with very good quality linen. The panoramic view from the small (but sufficient) balcony is absolutely spectacular, you can perfectly see the sea, the caldera, the epic sunset. We couldn't even have a more beautiful view! The cleanliness is impeccable, the towels are changed daily, also the set of cosmetics. Breakfast is varied and very good, congratulations to the lady Chef for the good and tasty food!
The waiters are the nicest we have ever met, always smiling and extremely kind and attentive, friendly and very helpful, offering a lot of suggestions and information about the island, . We thank Andreas and Adonis for their impeccable service! Andreas provided us very useful recommendations for restaurants in Perissa, his hometown. A special remark for Spiros, with his elegance and kindness, politeness and manners worthy of the royal court. He was very generous in information, knowing very well the geography and history of the island, explaining in a pleasant and interesting way. We named him "Mr. Google of the island" :)) Thank you, dear Spiros, for the way you made us feel during the 7 days of vacation!
Anna and Dimitris from the reception are very nice, being always willing to help. Dimitris helped us a lot with recommendations and suggestions, being always willing to help.
The cleaning ladies are nice and kind and do their job impeccably!
We didn't use the pool, the Aegean Sea was enough for us : ), but the pool looks very nice and clean.
We are happy to choose this hotel and we would definitely return here! Congratulations to the hotel manager!

This hotel is well positioned, close to the center of Fira. Be sure to request a caldera view with a balcony and you will enjoy amazing vistas! We spent every minute on our balcony from morning coffee to drinks at sunset and took many photos of the changing scenes. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was very attentive. A special THANK YOU to Spyros who made sure we had everything we needed. He recommended two restaurants and we enjoyed both of them. The hotel is accessible by taxi which means not dragging your bags up the hill. It is also a short walk to the public bus station and the bus service is excellent with large comfortable coaches running to various parts of the island and the airport.

Great hotel at the start of Fira's scenic walk, close to the cathedral. The view from the rooms on the caldera side is one of the best on the island: it is beautiful to sit and watch the sunset from your sheltered terrace with a good glass of wine; the hotel also offers a welcome bottle.
The breakfast is rich and abundant and the balcony, also with a caldera view, is beautiful.
The staff is very kind and helpful. Also pay attention to cleanliness.
There is a small but nice swimming pool with a view.
The cost is in line with hotels of its class in this iconic area of the island.

Getting to the hotel our driver dropped us to the bottom of the hill where I had to run to the hotel to get somebody to help us ..
Hotel is located in the center of everything surrounded by taverns restaurants very loud until 4 am yet it has a gorgeous sunsets ..
Breakfast buffet is not great and Wi-Fi rarely works .I asked them to check the router several times they never did.
The only thing I would say great about this hotel is cleaning is every day and staff is very nice .
Other than that don’t stay here built in 1987 has not been renovated or upgraded ever since don’t even have AC:(((

Great hotel in a great location close to everything with a great view great breakfast quality bath products
The pool area is enough for a cool dip with a view at best the lobby exudes a calmness
The negative is that it needs renovation at least in the bathrooms.
