Lapland Lake is one of the most beautiful and wonderful places on God's green earth. I love it here, well - there. See - I say 'here' even though I'm in Brooklyn right now. My head is 'there' at Lapland Lake because it just seems like home when I'm 'there' and when I'm 'here' at home in BK too. Cathy...

We just returned from yet another wonderful visit to Lapland Lake. It was so peaceful and quiet, and the weather was great--crisp and calm with plenty of sunshine. Mud season was also pretty much over. Our cabin was cozy and clean, as always, and we enjoyed grilling out at night, having camp fires, and a sky full of stars. The...

The cabins are small, very clean but rustic. If you are looking for luxury, this is not your place! It is quiet, peaceful and pretty right in the middle of the woods. I guess I was surprised the cabins reminded me of the 1950's. Not bad, just old fashion. The people were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed ourselves....

We’re so glad you enjoyed your visit with us. We love the peaceful nature of our location, too. As new owners, we’ve been making some updates to our cabins a bit at a time. Of course, without compromising their rustic, cozy nature. When you visit us again, which we hope you will, you may notice a few differences. Our private,...

We love to XC ski,and we enjoy the cozy tupas w / kitchenettes. The ski trails are well-designed,wide, and will be enjoyed by experts as well as novices for both classic and skate. would recommend at least a two night stay. Great mid-week rates ,and that is usually when we visit. This trip we were joined by an adult son.

We've stayed here 3 times when ski resorts in our region have been devoid of snow in early January and always enjoy our visit. We'd come more often if we lived closer. The cosy cottages are basic, but well-equipped self-catering units with a small kitchen, sitting area, dining area and separate bed rooms. You can order a yummy dinner to...

Basic, Clean, Comfortable lodging in a beautiful setting. What you see is what you get. You are paying for the setting, the skiing, the convenience, and the amazingly friendly staff! Honestly, at first, I felt like the Tupa was over priced. But the weekend could not have been more fun! By the time we left we would have gladly paid...

It is a beautifull small place with very cosy cabins. The (former) owner was born in Finland (that is why the name) and has cabins just as in Scandinavia. We stayed in a cozy cabin with kitchen and a fireplace. Wood was provided every day and we also could use a barbecue grill. The lodge has a nice lobby/reception, where...

My wife, 1-yr old son, and I stayed in the Kota Tupa. It was really cozy and fun. We enjoyed going on a few walks and going out on a rowboat at the lake. It was nice that all that was included in the price, and we didn't have to think more about what fun outdoor activities to do.

Our stay at Lapland lake was a great experience, wonderful hospitality, warm welcome, a lodge of 2 rooms and a warm and comortable space in between to sit and eat, lot of attention to the small details that make your stay nice and cosy.

I returned to Lapland Lake at the end of September for what's become a yearly fall get-a-way with my sweetie. Cool days, and cooler nights, were so pleasant--especially with our wood stove inside the tupa (cabin), and camp fires outside at night. The staff always made sure we had plenty of wood too, along with anything else we needed, like...
