Upon arrival to the room we immediately smelled vomit and stale beer throughout the entire room. The floor was covered with HIGHLY VISIBLE stains and debris . There was stains on the linens and bed skirts that smelled sooo terrible. There was mold in the vents and bathroom. The toilet was stained with what appeared to be blood. When I went to the front desk to complain my concerns were met with the utmost unprofessionalism and hostility Ive experienced in years! I would never recommend staying here for any reason whatsoever. 12/10/2022 Ced K.
Well, to start with, if you're staying in the front part, the parking is simply bad. It's so cramped and hard to get in and out of. It's just laid out so poorly. Secondly, we reserved a room with a king bed. Got a room with 2 full size beds.Motel seemed to be full so we didn't request a change, but honestly, we shouldn't have had to. My husband booked this leg of our trip (3 nights here-- shudder!) and he was trying to save money, but some things aren't worth saving money for. The walls AND the carpet AND the sheets were stained. The mattresses were very thin-- 6-8 inches-- and so bouncy that every time you roll over it felt like the bed was going to expel you. There was no comforter or even blanket really, just a top sheet and very thin coverlet, and when we got there, the heat hadn't even been on all day and it was a late October evening, so it took some time for the room temp to even be comfortable. There was a mini fridge but we didn't discover until day 2 that it wasn't even plugged in. There was no disposable bag for the ice bucket, so we didn't dare use that. The only good thing I can say is that the bathroom at least LOOKED nice, but my husband couldn't get the shower to maintain it's temperature at all. It maintained for me, but was too hot no matter what I did. It was just comical. I don't think I've ever stayed at a place this NOT GOOD before. Was very pleased to finally leave and head to our next hotel, which I chose. …
Roomy was filthy windows never washed. The room smelled musty as soon as you opened the door. Lobby smelled like urine when we checked in. People in other rooms were sleeping with their door wide open.
We stayed here one night while we attended Westminster dog show in Tarrytown. For what the hotel offered, was good value for the money! My experience is the room was clean, good location, friendly staff, just right bed, and delicious FREE breakfast. The only reason rated 3 is the hotel is dated and the towels are thin. I would stay here again.
More like a 2.5 The best thing I can say about the hotel is that the staff are friendly, and the room was ok. Buffet was edible. Negatives: -The small tan cover sheets had many different color stains in my room and my 2 co-workers room. -My tv remote didn't work -the toilet took like 100 lbs of pressure to flush and you had to hold the lever down. -There was hairs and ramen noodle pieces in the bathroom and tables. Neither were mine. -There are people up late partying. Has that motel shadiness at night. -Price was a little high. Basically if you just want a place to sleep after work, and are not scared of a little grime, it works. If you're looking to stay with a date or vacation, maybe spring for a better hotel.
Located in Nyack New York near Montefiore Nyack Hospital, during COVID 19 CRISIS if traveling essential workers, like health care workers, need temporary housing, the hotel is open with spacious rooms available for affordable rates in this metropolitan area of Rockland County.
My daughter and infant granddaughter had to stay her one night because her car broke down far from home. I actually saw her room as we had to come get her the next day and stayed a bit while she handled car matters. It was a roof over their heads for which I am grateful. She was happy to find this place in a pinch and they allowed her later check out as she waited for us to arrive, which I appreciated. It just would not be a place I'd choose unless an emergency - nor would she have.
I arrived at 1:50 for the 2:00 check-in, and was told that housekeeping had not yet cleaned the rooms. At 2:25, my friend and I were told that our freshly-cleaned room was ready. The room smelled of cigarettes (in a hotel that's 100% nonsmoking), the floor was dirty, the sheets appeared to have been used, and exhaust from an idling car came right under our door. We declined the offer of another room, and gladly paid twice as much to stay elsewhere in a clean room.
Dirtiest hotel I have ever seen. Room stunk, walls and ceiling stained. Rug didn’t even lay flat on floor. Towels soaked in bleach. Sheets dirty. Pictures on website need to be taken down as they must be from the day the hotel opened. Nasty.
I have to say this has been the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I generally save my bad reviews for when something is REALLY bad and this was one of those experiences. To begin, the outside was not very inviting. Upon opening the door to our room, the odor was consuming. The room had a musty smell like mold or mildew...it is hard to say exactly. It was not a pleasant smell in the least. We left the door open as long as we could to get some fresh air inside. I found many long dark hairs in the bed. The bedding was stained. The walls were stained and scratched. The ceiling was stained. The carpet was stained and ripped. The bath towels were the very cheap thin kind and were varying shades of white with light yellow stains. The road noise from 287 is noticeable; especially when the trucks are engine breaking and the room window starts rattling from the noise. We had ear plugs with us to help with that issue. We had a late check-in and had to leave early in the morning. I did not go up to the front desk to complain...we just wanted to get our few hours sleep and get on with our travels in the morning. If this is the room you have to offer me, then this is the review you deserve. This is not a 3-star hotel! Fortunately, this was just a stop over for us. Our next destination was at a "2.5-star" hotel which was immensely superior for the same cost per night. The WiFi signal was so weak and slow that I ended up turning off my phone's WiFi and using my data. It was bad. The staff were friendly and polite, so there was that. This hotel is what I would imagine a discount budget hotel to be offering for about fifty a night. I will never forget this place, never revisit this place and would not recommend staying here to anyone.…
