We just keep coming back. Margaret's home is incredible and she is so much fun. This is the best B&B we've ever stayed at. It's close to everything in Old Forge, at the quiet end of town and the prices are very reasonable. Loved our stay!

I booked this lovely B&B speaking directly with Margaret, the owner. She greeted us when we arrived early and happily showed us to our room, even though SHE was finishing cleaning rooms and her home is spotless. What a lovely traditional home full of pretty dishes and antiques and her personal photos too. Every wall is covered with artwork and...

First time to Haynes' White House Inn and the Adirondacks. Just like being at home--the welcoming Mrs. Haynes is a jolly hostess, good cook, and knowledgeable guide to local sites like Sagamore (one of the 'Great Camps') and kayaking on the Moose River only steps away. Old Forge is very walkable. The Goodsell Museum, a block up the street, is...

Wonderful, wonderful place to stay in Old Forge...especially to get away from the typical motels in the mountains. Margaret is simply charming. Breakfast was delicious and she made accomodation for my fiance's dislike of eggs. Choose this b and b if you can!

I was pleased to find this B&B right smack in the middle of Old Forge. It's within walking distance from many venues and an easy drive to many other places in this beautiful part of the world. Margaret is a gracious host who not only prepares sumptuous breakfasts but gives you good suggestions on where to visit or to shop...

We loved our stay at the Whitehouse Inn. Margaret, the innkeeper is fantastic. She runs a clean, beautifully kept home. She made us feel very comfortable. The breakfasts were wonderful. She was very accommodating about my gluten allergy. She always made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely return.

Words can not describe how memorable and lovely our stay was at The White House Inn. Margaret (the owner and keeper) is a tremendous women, making our stay with her feel like we were family coming home again. Our trip to Old Forge was for our 1st wedding anniversary. When we got into our room, we found a sweet card...

What a lovely B&B! It is immaculate, beautifully decorated, has a perfect location right in town and best of all, has a wonderful proprietress in Margaret. She obviously loves meeting and taking care of people, as it shows in everything she says and does. I mentioned on the phone while making the reservation that I loved cats, and she had...

We stayed at the White House Inn for July 4th of 2013. Everything was so wonderful. Margaret is so gracious and made us a beautiful breakfast in the morning. We are going back next week for a couple nights and I can not wait. Beautiful home and such a lovely lady.

Our family stayed at The Haynes White House Inn in July 2014. The Proprietor (Margaret) was one of the most hospitable people we've ever come in contact with! The house and accommodations are beautiful and clean, and it is very much like "home". We had never thought about a bed and breakfast in the Adirondacks, but this is truly a...
