We booked an overnight visit to the Adirondack region to see fall foliage. We found the Alpine Homestead on an internet search, and it worked out very well. The location was convenient and easy to find, our hosts were very gracious and helpful to learn more about the area, including good options on where to eat. Breakfast was marvelous (I...

My boyfriend and i staid here over labor day weekend sort of last minute, and were delightfully surprised the moment we arrived. Hosts had no problem when we let them know we might be arriving a bit later at night and were up waiting for us with a smile when we got there. The house is extremely clean and the...

This was my first time in a bed and breakfast, I'm not really the bed and breakfast type. I'm more of a private person. But to my surprise, it was a really nice stay. Peggy and Barry are extremely helpful and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I stayed in the Tannery room, its a king...

Very nice innkeepers welcome you into their inn. They went out of there way to make me feel at home, from afternoon tea to dinner recs and more. Large room and bath. All around comfortable! We'll stay here again if we can get back here for ski season.

This was our first stop on a two week, 7 state motorcycle trip. Unfortunately, the weather was not typical for late May and we were frozen upon arrival. Peggy got the fire going for us immediately and within no time at all we were warming up with a cup of coffee. Lovely, lovely people and a charming old house. Our...

Barry and Peggy met us at the door and within minutes we felt like friends. Our stay was wonderful! The house is beautiful. We stayed in the lovely Tannery Room. The breakfast was delectable. The short drive to Gore mountain was very reasonable. But above all our hosts Barry and Peggy were wonderful, thoughtful, caring, friendly, and most hospitable.

We loved this place! Great value, location, and breakfast. It is only 15 min from the mountain and a few minutes from lots of restaurants. We hung out most of the evening in the large living room next to the fire with a cup of tea. The house is lovely! And the breakfasts are amazing. We'll stay here every time we...

We love the Alpine Homestead like it is our second home! It is clean, warm, and inviting. Hands down, it is the best bed and breakfast we have stayed in. We got engaged while we staying there and we returned for our honeymoon! We know you will enjoy!
