In order to visit a relative in the nearby Jewish Home Family, I sought a nearby hotel for one night. I always check Trip Advisor reviews before booking, and I cringed on reading most. But it was closest, and very reasonably priced, so I booked, figuring ‘how bad could it be for one night?’. Well, I’m happy to report that it was neat and clean; comfortable bed, lots of high-pressure hot water in the shower, and lots of towels. There was a Keurig coffee machine, and housekeeping gave me a number of extra pods. No complaints at all—I heartily recommend, if you need to be in the area!
Hotel needs a makeover ASAP. Where do I began. It has a musty smell throughout the first floor. The rugs are old. New furniture is definitely needed in the room #154 The pleather chair has to go. The material is peeling off. The back exit door is broken. Anyone can walk in. Very unsafe.
The room was not secure. It had a broken door latch and it was extremely dirty underneath the beds. I accidentally left a 200 dollar jacket in the room when I checked out.... I called the front desk and they said they would check with housekeeping and call me back. I did NOT get a call back. When I called them for a second time later that same day, they said that housekeeping was gone for the day and I would have to check the next day. I was also told nothing else could be done and this was too late since I was only in the area for a short time before I had to leave. Seems odd that they did not have a lost and found/standard procedure for lost items to be returned to the front desk. It was a $200 jacket... Maybe someone wanted to keep it.
Restaurant and bar are closed. Furniture shown in pictures missing from our room. They didn't even have soda in the vending machines. Really one of the most incompetently managed hotels I've staid in.
I had a short stay in this hotel. It's an older building but well maintained. A little short on amenities. The room was a decent size, it was clean, and the bed was comfortable. I went to the desk for a snack; however, there wasn't much in the way of choices. I didn't interact with the staff much but they seemed friendly.
I went to the Hotel Armani in Orangeburg NY for 4 days and 3 nights No hot water, cable of phone service for the entire time. Even had signs up on the hotel desk. When asked for a refund I was told know. I would have to wait until Monday afternoon for someone names Nikki. She asked why I did not leave, because your staff would not give me a refund and you compensation was for me to book another night for a 15% discount
Came as advertised. My complaints are so minor but they are just that, minor. The hotel is dated but the room was clean. The sheets had a slight scent of bleach and looked and felt very clean. The bed was comfortable. I believe the coffee machine in our room was brand new, never been used. We stayed three days including a weekend and the nights were very quiet. If you're looking for a luxury stay, you will be disappointed. It's just a good average hotel with a nicely kept pool and very nice employees. The laundry is still out of order, the printers in the computer area are out of ink and the soda vending machine was empty the whole time but these were minor inconveniences for me.
So this is an old Holiday inn that was rebranded in Sept 2021. No secrets here. When you get in you think it's a pretty nice place, lots of common area that are nice. The bad starts when you start walking to your room. The hallways pipes are leaking and there are garbage cans to catch the water and boards installed on the floor. Most of the room where not even used and kept empty. About 20-30 cars in the parking. Didn't look like they were renovating. Rooms are OK at best, not super clean... Pool was decent for the kids. Le locking outside doors don't all work so anyone can get in at night so security is an issue. A lot of the room where just kept open with swing bar. I could have entered a room and slept there for free with my sleeping bag. Only one of the 4 ice machine was kinda working. Water pressure was so high that it hurt showering. Not sure where they are going with the hotel, it's big and could be nice. We won't be back to this one. Price was ok for 1 night. If you like to walk there is nice trail in the wood just 3 minutes drive behind the hotel, it was lots of fun with the kids.…
If you’re trying to take a break from managing, don’t come here. The staff constantly make the schedules of their employees your problem. I was fascinated by this behavior. The pool at 11:30 is still not “open” (even though it opens at 10) because maintenance has not been to check it. I had a housekeeper climb into me because we dared access the pool without maintenance checking it in the morning. I explained that it is their responsibility to check it not mine if the pool opens at 10:00am. Another incident: Our fire alarm kept bleeping from low battery all through the night because we weren’t allowed to change it only maintenance and they were not scheduled to be on that evening. So we slept with the bleeping every few seconds all through the night. When reporting the bleeping a second time the next morning, I was told no one was working maintenance and this explains why we had to endure this. No glimmer of accountability or refunding us for that night. The washing machine is broken so no laundry guest services. The list goes on. I was happy to continue on without posting a bad review the first time we encountered difficulties but the way I was spoken to by staff at the pool this morning has pushed me over the edge. Enough is enough. Don’t come here. You will regret the decision to spend your money here. Positive Reviews are family and friends - it’s so obvious now. What a shame. Treat your guests better, Armoni!…
You couldn't make it up if u tried. - The Welcome- Not even a bottle of water in the fridge to welcome guest, you have to buy 500ml bottle for $2 from them. -I asked for a kettle for teas and was told to take water in a cup and go heat up in the kitchen microwave each time I want tea. Really?? -The carpet in the Hallway and Rooms are awful! -You don't get your room cleaned throughout the stay despite Requesting, Leaving a note on the door etc. -The bin in our room was full and we requested twice for it to be emptied for days but was told to come for a bag at reception and empty it our ourselves. We went and was was told they'll send it over but never did. Noise- Party guests until 2am disturbing in the car park. You could here trucks at night etc etc
