My son and I spent four nights, using the Lodge as a base for exploring many trails and views. We had a small, but more than adequate motel unit with two very comfortable twin beds; cabin #9. Very clean, away from the road noise, 0.5 mi from the village. Short walk to classic scenery. Continental breakfast was generous with lots...

As the second part of a trip to the USA, with the first half being around Kissimmee, Phoenicia Lodge provide the perfect antidote to Florida - a haven in the mountains. There is really very little to fault about the whole setup here, as long as you're looking for clean and rustic accommodations with a chance to spend more time...

My son (9) and I just recently stayed here for a "last week before school" adventure and had an amazing time. The cabins are immaculately clean, have everything you need and are super comfortable. They even had a little grill outside where we roasted hot dogs and fresh corn from the local market. The staff is very friendly and offers...

My husband , I and our old lady dog traveled here just this week . The cabin was very clean  and kind of retro . We stayed in cabin #4,  the space was just enough for the three of us , but tight ( as I'm 5-11 and my husband 6-3 ).  The bathroom was a bit snug especially the...

Stayed here recently for a short family trip of hiking and swiming. We staying in cottage 5. Two bedrooms kitchen and a futon. The cottage was perfect for our family of four. Clean and simple. Just what we were expecting. The kitchen had all the amenities and was perfect for fixing dinners that we had at the picnic table outside....

Brian and Sarah do a great job making you feel at home. We stayed in cabin 6 and it felt like our own little cabin in the mountains. The cabin was clean and the bed comfortable. Do not come expecting luxury accommodations though. There is a nice continental breakfast in the AM and a great selection of DVDs to borrow.

We chose the Phoenicia lodge based on the great reviews on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed at all, it really is a great place. We stayed in cabin 5 which was perfect; there were four of us - two adults and two kids (9 & 12) and the kids shared a room the first night and then one...

The Catskills are rustic - the Phoenicia Lodge (at least Suite 13) is not! Cool off and relax at this wonderfully appointed and well maintained gem tucked in the Catskills. Brian and Sara, the owners and operators, are warm and friendly and serve a surprisingly good continental breakfast of Starbucks coffee, Chobani yogurt, fresh fruit, bagels, and juice. And fortunately...

Brian and Sara are excellent hosts in these quaint, low key country style cottages and hotel. We have only stayed in the cottages, but we love it every time. They are not fancy, but they are clean, heated, with screens on doors and windows. It even has a TV, just in case it rains. Their wireless internet signal is up...

Not only was I blown away by the beauty of the Catskills, but also by this beautiful, clean and surprisingly affordable place. You can rent a cabin with a little kitchen or just a motel style room. Either way, you will not be disappointed. For those people who are expecting the luxury of a 5 star hotel, go elsewhere. But...
