My friends and I travel to Pulaski twice a year - once for salmon season in the fall and then for trout in the spring. We do everything we can each time to book a place at this lovely B&B. The fact that we can't always get a space is just one testament to how great a place this truly... More

It's that special time of the year.....1880's House and steelhead fishing on the Salmon River.Once again, our home away from home, the best bed and breakfast I have ever encountered, reigns supreme. The fishing is world class, but the hospitality of mom and daughter,Linda, and Dawn,is even better, as ever. Lucky, the retriever rescued by the family,is one beautiful fit, even in... More

The 1880 house is one of the best B&B's I have ever stayed at! I come annually for the steelhead fishing with a few other friends and family members. We fish hard during the day, and relax hard at night weather in the "man cave" down stairs swapping stories or in the kitchen eating fresh bread and soup! The rooms... More

My family and friends have been coming here as a group every year since they opened! Our group stays at the 1880 House for our annual fishing trip for salmon and trout. While the fishing is always fun, staying at the 1880 House makes the trip memorable for our entire group! This year we were fortunate enough to bring 3... More

I have gone to Pulaski every fall since 1996 to fish the Salmon River, and over the years have stayed at seven different lodges/motels/B&Bs in the area. I stayed at the 1880 House for the first time this year, and it is far and away the best of the lot from a fisherman's perspective, and not by a little bit.... More

The staff make you feel rite at home.its like going to grand ma's with out the mothball smell. It's location is perfect rite next to the salmon rive for eazy access for your fishing pleasure . The home baked bread and the home made soups really make the 1880 house a great place to stay

I just spent 4 days at the 1880 house with my son and son in law. You really are more than just a guest here. The proprietor (Linda) is excellent at making everyone feel comfortable. The amenities were great and the food was fantastic. I even left with a new recipe thanks to her daughter Dawn.. We were on a... More

Our hiking club recently stayed at the 1880 House for a weekend of skiing and hiking on the Tug Hill Plateau. Over 20 of us were lodged extremely comfortably in the various rooms of the large house and annex. My wife and I had a huge room, with fireplace and bathroom. We thought we had the best room, but it... More

Recently took some friends' advice and stayed at 1880 House on the four day fishing trip. Linda, Dawn and the staff are delightful people, and they all made us feel right at home. Even Linda's cat, Teeka (1880's "other" owner) was as friendly as could be. The service was impeccable, and Dawn's soups were to die for! Rooms were very... More
