I travel a lot, and stay at a lot of hotels. This was BY FAR one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in, and that is saying a ton. I have become a bit of a hotel snob, but this past weekend hotels in Albany area were tight and EXPENSIVE due to the horse race and basketball tournament. The room was reasonably priced, and it was immaculate. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient at check-in as well. Highly recommend.

I honestly have to say that the pillows in this hotel were the best I've slept on in many years! Very comfortable hotel with very pleasant helpful staff. The breakfast included was good also. They were doing some renovation work to the breakfast room when we were there but the construction was not disruptive. They had a temporary room for use as a breakfast room.

There is free parking directly at the hotel. The reception was fine. Our room and bathroom were a good size and there was enough storage space, seating and power outlets.
However, there is too much to complain about! Some things are broken (pictures attached), scratched and poorly repaired. The doors were constantly slamming shut until 3 a.m. and we couldn't get to sleep. Since we didn't hear anything from the guests, we assume it was the staff. The breakfast is typically American, with a bit more choice than usual. We arrived half an hour before it was due to expire. There were still two clean tables, the rest were dirty. But the room with the breakfast was locked right on time. Our price was almost $240!!

I booked a hotel and the reservation department told me that they do have a working washer and dryer. To my surprise that didn’t even have one on site for the guest. I had to walk up the hill 7 mins away to another after a long week isn’t a relaxing day! On top of this surprise they didn’t have a refrigerator or microwave in the room!

Stopped here as part of our USA road trip. Greated by friendly staff who have made a great effort decorating the hotel for July 4th, we particularly loved the gnomes!! Lovely room, comfy bed, plenty of space and clean bathroom with Dove products. Breakfast was good and plentiful, we would definitely stay here again!

This is a hotel in an industrial park mostly for business travelers (you need a car to get anywhere). Hey the view of Albany is nice. Everything you expect from a Holiday Inn Express (clean, reasonably priced, safe) Plus: very nicely laid out rooms. Kind staff. Unusually good breakfast (selection, taste, etc.). Lovely small indoor pool. Bed was a bit firm and AC a bit finicky but I slept well.

We really enjoyed this place. We had stayed in two other hotels (both in other hotel chains) a few days before this, and we had issues with each one. There were no issues here. In fact, the front desk staff and other staff couldn't help us enough! They were truly pleasant, checked to see that we had a fridge and a microwave in the room (ask for it when you reserve), and they were indeed there. The staff goes out of their way to help, and I love that there is a quiet time of 10 pm-6 am. One of the hotels we stayed at was so loud, and I was trying to study, and they did nothing to stop the noise. This hotel was quiet, has an indoor pool, breakfast, and check-out was uneventful (unlike another hotel chain that charged us more than they were supposed to). We would definitely stay here again. There are great covered bridges less than an hour away north of here, and this is a great place to stay while on your way to see them. Everyone goes to VT to see the covered bridges and the colors of the leaves, but they're missing 4 terrific covered bridges right in Washington County, NY, and the leaves are just as colorful there without the crowds in Vt. If we see the bridges again or if I have a business trip to Albany, I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a pleasant stay, a great room, and just exactly what we were looking for.

We enjoyed the room with a King bed, very large with a sofa! Fridge and coffee maker Lunch provided but ordinary, you can have yogurt, muffin, cold omelette but what do you want often like that in buffets! We liked the cleanliness of the place

Typical Holiday Inn Express; clean; friendly & helpful staff. Very pleased to see how staff handled breakfast during pandemic - they had a cook taking orders from a menu which included bacon, eggs, fruit. Much better than typical hotel breakfasts.
