Until today, I’ve only stayed in two rooms on that repelled me so much that I slept in my clothes. Tonight will be the third. After spending several minutes jingling the keys to try and enter, we were greeted by an unadorned room with Stained indoor outdoor carpeting with multiple holes, a dead bug on the bed and strong smell of dog.. The furniture was mismatched and look like it came from Goodwill. Curtains were partially broken, heating unit was rusty and missing parts, and one look at the bathroom made me realize I wasn’t going to dare to take a shower in the morning Granted, I price/shopped for this room but had no idea from the reviews how low brow it was. When I had to move a piece of furniture to find a plug, I wish I could’ve unseen what I found. We were shocked to find a place like this affiliated with the Beekman arms. It seems they should give up the free breakfast and invest that money instead into refurbishing these units. As it stands now, I would not stay here again even if it were free.

Almost cancelled based on the reviews of others but went ahead with two nights July first and second 2021. Pool still closed - grrrr. Housekeeping just two days a week. Grrr. No hot breakfast, still. On the positive side the desk staff was as helpful as they could be under the circumstances. Also the room was very spacious and well equipped.

During my initial conversation with this motel they informed me that we would need to check-in at a different location because the office on-site was currently unmanned. That seemed reasonable at the time as we are into the second spring of covid travel. I asked if we could pick up the key earlier in the day so that we would not need to make several stops after dark. When we arrived at the Rhinebeck Village Inn (Motel) late in the evening the site was completely dark. No lights in the parking lot. No lights near the room doors. No lights on the walkways. Rhinebeck Village Inn (Motel) looked abandoned like a haunted or derelict building. My husband wanted to leave immediately, but it was late and a weekend, and we had the keys to our two rooms. I was too tired to take a chance on trying to find another place to stay at that hour on the weekend. After maneuvering our vehicle to aim the headlights at the exterior doors and sidewalks in order to see the room numbers, the keys wouldn’t work and we were getting ready to leave in frustration. Then finally he was able to get one door open and then the other. Still without light, he parked the vehicle properly so that anyone else who might arrive could park in a normal fashion. We then proceeded to unpack our bags. While my head was in the vehicle my 84-year-old father in law, seeing the light now on in what was to be his room, began to walk in the direction of the room. In the darkness between the parking space and the room (All of 15ft) he fell over a knee-high boulder. He bruised and gashed his knee, luckily, he didn’t crack a rib or his head. My husband called the main site and reported the incident and asked to please send bandages. When the staff person arrived, she unlocked the unmanned office and turned on all of the walkway lighting. She immediately exclaimed that she would have an electrician fix the timer problem. Never an apology for the darkness or the injury. The room itself, mediocre at best. I didn’t expect much, we just needed a place to lay our head for one night. The room was very worn even for the number, but clean. We travel to this area of upstate New York a lot for family and fun. We will never stay here again. It is not worth it.

We recently stayed at the Rhinebeck Village Inn. We live in the Hudson Valley, however my husband was scheduled for an early surgery at Northern Dutchess Hosp. Due to inclement weather we decided to stay nearby. We searched local lodging. The Inn had mixed reviews, however it was in our budget. We were surprising pleased to find the Rm warm, clean, quiet, & the bedding comfy. The hot water was instantaneous & plentiful. An added perk is a complimentary continental bkfst at the historic Beekman Arms. I definitely wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Rhinebeck Village Inn.

If you don't need to be in the middle of town, i.e. the Beekman Arms or the Delameter, (all three owned by the same company), the Village Inn is a more reasonable alternative. Breakfast is included until 9:30 am but it's at the Beekman, which is 0.6 miles away to the north. I walked it several times just to get some exercise. It's not fancy. If you traveled in the 60's and 70's the decor here will be familiar. The rooms are large and comfort is OK - no real problems. Just be prepared to settle for a lower quality motel style place to sleep.

Clearly, the Village Inn does not have the charm of a Beekman Arms (its owner) or one of the romantic B and B’s in the vicinity, but c’mon, how often do you get to stay in a quaint little motel these days? It’s retro in a different way. The Village Inn is clean and has comfortable beds. That should su

We had a reservation at Beckman Arms Inn for Saturday night - which mysteriously morphed into this place .6 mi down the road. The “cold continental breakfast” was not appealing enough to stay - place was not nice and somewhat creepy. We did get a refund - but not going to ever return.

Stayed at this hotel, room #15, on a Saturday night in October 2018. As soon as we opened the door we noticed the room had a terrible musty smell. The beds were rock hard and the room was not clean. Got about 2 hours sleep and was looking forward to taking a hot shower and checking out. With the water regulated I stepped in the shower. The water then blasted ice cold and then scalding HOT. The water burned my back it was so hot. Husband checked the faucet and said the water was hooked up improperly. Paid $179 plus tax to stay in this dump. When I checked out I told the clerk at the desk what had happened and he gave me 15% off my bill. Told him it should be more like 50% and that they had some nerve even renting rooms at this place. Followed up with a phone call when we returned home. The woman I spoke to on the phone said they had never had ANY complaints about this establishment. Outrageous!! Place deserves no stars but had to give it one in order to post a review.

Summary: We payed $200/night (!!!) and I've stayed in nicer Motel 8 for $75!! You must be kidding. Look, if they charged $75 I'd say it was "OK". But for the price they're charging, it's Nuts! The room was way too hot - but the air conditioning unit was so loud we couldn't sleep when it came on. The bathroom sink is an old-fashioned little sink with no counter or anywhere to put anything - ?? The back room wasn't cleaned and had stuff (??) on the floor... I could go on. Bottom Line: If you can stay anywhere else, don't stay here.

Clean spacious rooms (I stayed in 8), much cleaner than the super 8 I stayed in the night before. Warm and quiet. Yes you have to check in at the main Delemeter building in central Rhinebeck, but not a big deal as other reviewers have made out, plus you can have breakfast there or a drink at the bar before retiring to the inn. Bathroom was clean, outfitted with Delemeter toiletries. Only real complaint was there was no coffee to put in the coffee maker in the room! At $133 inc tax it is a little expensive, if this were reduced it would be a no brainer. Would stay again. Oh and it is 15 minutes north of the excellent Ever ready diner
