My wife and I stayed three nights at Mirbeau Inn & Spa over the Labor Day weekend. The Inn is well maintained, clean and beautiful. The staff were friendly and attentive. We had a spa treatment our last day at the Inn and it left us both rejuvenated. Locker rooms house a steam room sauna. There is a gym with some free classes. The outdoor plung pool is heated. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Looking forward to returning for another long weekend soon.

Hotel's Favourite
The Mirbeau Inn & Spa Rhinebeck is a heavenly spa getaway. Great for a romantic weekend, girls trip, or solo relaxation. Guests must be 21 or over, so this is an adult get-away - yay! The entire inn is non-smoking/non-pets. Opened in 2019, it still has the look and feel of a brand new place. It is located only about a 2 hour drive from NYC and is right in the center of the town of Rhinebeck, so all restaurants and shops are right near the inn - super easy walking distance. The outside grounds of the inn are very impressive - a long cobblestone driveway with ample parking both above and below ground. Piped in relaxation music playing from "rock" speakers in the parking lot are the first welcome. There are bicycles/helmuts for the guest use right out front. CHECK IN: Check in was a total breeze in the large reception area that even had the amazing "spa smell". The very kind and knowledgeable Billy handled both my check/in and check/out, was super professional, friendly, helpful, and went out of his way to assist with questions. One of the good aspects of this inn is that while check-in isn't until 4pm, hotel guests can use the spa, fitness center and all facilities even before check in, so you can get there early (spa hours were 6am -9pm) and use the spa/facilities all day. ROOM: The large 3rd floor room with king-sized bed was totally spotless, had spa music playing from a bedside sound machine, a "faux" fireplace was going, full sized luxury toiletries in the bathroom, separate clawfoot soaking tub, large spa shower, and even the toilet bowl had its own separate "room" ha ha - -an alcove area separate than the rest of the bathroom. There is an in-room safe, his and her thick well-made spa lined bathrobes and slippers in the closet, tons of hangers, a hand-held clothing steamer, coffee maker, etc. The bed was super comfortable with a huge padded headboard. All of the wIndows had both sheer curtains and blackout shades, and evening turndown service is done by housekeeping for those that want it. The room was large, spotless and super comfortable. As someone who is still careful with Covid protocols I felt totally comfortable in this pristine room. SPA - The spa has separate his/hers lockerooms that are large, impeccably clean, and filled with luxurious oversized toiletry products, towels, and other comforts such as hairdryers, curling irons, hair ties, etc. A spa attendant takes you for an initial tour. Throughout my stay there were multiple spa attendants always in the locker room and surrounding areas cleaning or refreshing supplies. Each guest gets assigned a locker with a changeable combination. Spa robes and slippers are waiting in each locker. The women's lockeroom has a steamroom and dry sauna, toilets, changing areas and individual spa showers. There is a large co-ed "relaxation room" with dimmed lighting, about 40 padded loungers, a faux fireplace and chairs in which you can either hang out in all day or while you await your spa services. The room has several wellness type books on the tables besides the loungers and there is area stocked with fresh fruit, cucumber water, various teas, etc. There are always plenty of towels to use in numerous locations around the spa. I had a collagen facial with Ashley which was excellent. I also had a deep tissue massage. As someone who has been getting massages regularly for decades and in locations worldwide at various spa facilities, the deep tissue massage that I had at Mirabeau with Ben was one of the top ten deep tissue massages that I have ever had. He was also friendly, extremely knowledgeable about physiology and offered several suggestions for my massage and wellness routines going forward. I highly recommend Ben for deep tissue massage!! Right off of the spa area is an outdoor 100 degree heated dunk-pool (i.e. the pool is not for swimming, just for short-term chilling out in heated water with fountains). Around the pool area, there are padded lounge chairs, small bistro tables, multiple cubed lounge seating with umbrellas and 4 cabanas with privacy curtains, couches and loungers. There is a poolside bar area as well. My only disappointment with the spa was the external noise factor during my facial. The room in which my facial took place was on the opposite wall of a heavy security door leading to the pool area. That door is constantly being opened by clients and slams shut with a loud bang. This was really distracting during the facial. I would recommend that they either put that door on some kind of a spring loaded close or add some kind of foam strips to soften the blow when the door slams shut. Fitness classes take place in the fitness room with yoga mats, blocks, etc. and there is a gym with free weights, machines. There is also a gift shop that sells the spa products and bathing suits or things you may have forgotten to bring. DINING: I had 2 outdoor breakfasts at the Charlie Palmer Willow restaurant (there is indoor and outdoor seating). The service at the restaurant was spotty (hostess was in the kitchen chatting instead of out front at the dining reception on both mornings causing an awkward wait) and even though I was there at "off times" getting the attention of the waitress to come outside was difficult on both days. I was also a little disappointed that a restaurant with a high caliber chef name at a spa/wellness inn didn't have more vegan options. Nonetheless, the breakfasts were very good (though somewhat pricey), the waitress was very nice, and the outdoor seating was serene -- overlooking trees and flowers in the backyard with a lot of nature sounds, as well as the sound of local church bells. There was a sign in the spa indicating that guests were permitted to dine in their robes at the inn daily up until 4pm. I thought that this was a great option as you can spend the whole day in a spa robe, eat breakfast and lunch in your robe and not have to worry about changing clothes throughout the day. Due to the limited number of vegan options at the Willow restaurant, I chose to eat dinner at a local place, Terrapin, a gorgeous restaurant in what looks like it was a former church space a few blocks away - - lots of vegan and non vegan options, locally sourced ingredients, great food and great service. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Mirbeau, and am already looking forward to returning with multiple friends. Total hit!

Lovely, lovely property. Smelled like a spa the minute we walked in & began to relax immediately. Was offered champagne at check-in. The highlights: Front desk very helpful and friendly. Especially (I think?) TJ…many apologies if I got his name wrong. Spa was great. Spotless thanks to two young women working tirelessly the day I was there. DEEPLY relaxing relaxation room. Amazing A/C in the rooms…definitely necessary. Had breakfast outside at Willow one morning, gorgeous view, tasty food, nice service. Very spacious room, super comfortable bed. Only criticism: Towel quality not up to par for a nice hotel. Would absolutely return & recommend. Loved being able to walk to (very) nearby restaurants. Lovely town.

This property is so beautiful and well maintained. The spa is great! I had a fantastic massage. The staff is so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I particularly want to call out TJ who works at the front desk. He completely went out of his way for us. He’s such a gem. You will love your stay at Mirbeau.

SPEND YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE! THEY KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND HAVE THE RECIPE TO TRANSFORM YOUR WEAK TIRED STRESS INTO REJUVENATING MINDFUL REST AND RELAXATION - A PERFECT TRANSITION AND RESET FOR MY WIFE AND I! BILLY at the front desk is the epitome of pure customer service, efficient warm and succinct- he had the answers to my questions before i could even ask them. His smile and affective professional (while endearing) manner and cause, INCREDIBLE! He can teach a course on genuine hospitality and humanism! Zoe at Willow- just superb , we were lucky enough to have her twice as our server and let me tell you - if your going to serve 5 star fare, having a 5 star server- just completes the overall experience. Zoe is what we call - unbeatable - smiling, calm -knew the menus and how to explain them , we didn't want for a thing - coffee and water glasses always full, never a need to ask for her help - she made sure the meals were both complete, satisfying and wholly accommodated for the duration and more - what an amazing person Zoe is! Erica Lieblich topped it all at the spa - I can't tell you what a difference having her support and assists throughout the two days meant to us. Every step, from the lockers to the workouts in the gift shop and in the exchange areas - the sesonf Erica talks to you - you are in a space of warmth, relaxation and confidence that if you need ANYTHING on prem, she WILL have the answers and get you settled away in an instant and know where to find future answers / direction with a huge intelligent smile and thorough, graceful follow up. ED - you got an amazing thing going on here with Amazing Talented and Genuine people working alongside you to =make the dream a reality - way to go All If you want place to go and relax in total wellness with superb amenities and staff- LOOK NO FURTHER FOLKS!

Had an enjoyable time. Amenities, experience, dining at Willow and the surrounding restaurants were great; Went to Ario (Thai) and Gabby (Mexican) restaurants. People were nice and friendly. My spa experiences were superb thanks to Maggie & Jeff. Jake & T.J. were also great. I can’t wait to go back again soon.
