My wife and I had a lovely stay at the Ginger Cat in early June, 2015. Gita is an incredibly welcoming hostess, and makes quite a tasty breakfast. The B&B is small, only two rooms, so may not work if you are a large group, but on the flip side you won't feel crowded like can happen at larger B&Bs.... More

We had a peaceful and beautiful stay. Gita and the kitties are wonderful hosts. Gita cooked a delicious vegan breakfast, she asked for any allergies and preferences, and she will teach you and share experiences.Thank you for the stay and food... Much love and we will be back with our friends and family ♥️

This all vegan B & B is 5 minutes North of Watkins Glen and 5 minutes South of wine country but nestled in a private setting on a beautiful 15 acres. Yes, it's February! The wineries are open and running lots of specials. Her vegan brunches are well planned, delicious, and plentiful. She's a great cook and a wonderful person... More

Harry/Jenny - it was so nice to meet both of you and even though it was bitterly cold outside during your stay I am happy that you enjoyed the warmth of all that this area has to offer. I was really glad that you attended the Mardi Gras event. And I agree - the vegan food was incredible. I was... More

I stayed at the Ginger Cat Bed and Breakfast for a week's vacation and I truly did not want to go home! I had specifically made the trip to go to visit the Farm Sanctuary, so knowing it was vegan and there were cats I knew it was the perfect place to stay! Everything was just wonderful, from the extremely... More

My girlfriend and I came out for a 2-night stay to enjoy Ithaca, Watkins Glen, the Farm Sanctuary, and the early fall foliage. Gita was a great host, greeting our arrival with pieces of moist chocolate cake, fresh fruits, a chance to hang out with her adorable, affectionate cats, and helpful information about things to do in the area and... My wife and I were drawn to Ginger Cat because it was vegan, close to the Farm Sanctuary and had great reviews. All three of the of the above are true. This is a wonderful B&B, especially for vegans! The host, Gita, is super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The house is clean and welcoming and is set on 15 acres of beautiful country property. It's only a 5 minute drive into Watkins Glen, and 10 minutes to Farm Sanctuary. She has a number of very friendly cats that are not allowed... More

It's been 6 years since my last visit to Watkins Glen. Last time I camped at Farm Sanctuary to attend their Country Hoe Down. While I am not vegan I have strived to transition to a vegetarian/pescatarian diet with some successes and failures. This trip was to celebrate my 1 year anniversary with my boyfriend. It was a lovely get-a-way... More
