Whether your coming for the fishing or hunting or just passing through , The RH has it all. You have a bar , restaurant , & motel all on the same property. There is even Live-Entertainment on the week-ends. karaoke & live bands. Owners Tommy (TJ) & Marea are there to please. Very personable & professional people. IF your looking...

There are not too many places to stay near Woodstock (Bethel, NY). This place is better for college kids, or campers/fishing folk. Beds were clean and comfy enough. Wouldn't use the shower or the towels--towels were actually BROWN stained. How could they supply the bath with brown stained towels and not notice this? TV worked. No bugs. The bar seemed...

The Rockland House recently updated their furniture and prices.....They lowered thier rates and updated their rooms. I uploaded photos, so take a look. They have also put in a breakfast room which has a coffee machine, toaster oven, microwave and a nice table to sit at. They also serve dinner which has a great soup and salad bar.

I stayed here a couple years ago. I agree with some of the others who said the place needed lots of maintenance and it can get noisy at night. Sometimes the phone system can't handle the load. It does have a popular restaurant and some fly fishermen like to stay here.

We had a great time...the people who run this place really care about what they're doing, and it shows. You just can't beat a place that has a bar & fantastic restraurant right next to the rooms.Everyone was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. We found the rooms neat and clean and everything functioned. We like the low price basic room,so it fit us...

Great meals at Rockland House restaurant -- delicious food, prepared well, huge fresh salad bar, and great service. I expected a comparable level of cleanliness and pride in the motel, but found quite the opposite. Rooms are a great deal, which is wonderful when you're not spending all that much time in them, but it's still preferable to return to...

This place is a utopia! Lets be honest, you are not going to find the Ritz in small town USA, but this place is the small town equivalent. With spacious and clean rooms, with large bathroom, tv and fridge. But what sets this place apart is the people who run it, a room is a room its the service that...

We stayed at the Rockland House for a weekend this July, and had a great time! The rooms are clean, we didn't smell "mildew" or any other unpleasantness. Within walking distance there is a great restaurant (try the ribs!!) that had a fresh salad bar and GIANT portions. Everyone in our party took home a doggie bag, and the staff...

The place wasn't bad for the exception of all the bar fights that kept us up all night long. People were screaming and yelling, a very unfriendly atmosphere for children. It would be a great place if you were single and like a bar atmosphere. The rooms were clean and nice, but the surroundings were not pleasant. We will not...
