My boyfriend and I were scrambling to find last minute accommodations for a semi-impromptu overnight trip to the Catskills. I had called around to chain hotels before finding the 1850 House. For around the same rate, we had a stay with character. Friendly innkeepers, cozy...More

Rosendale may be a few blocks long, but each place is quirky and cool and friendly. I stayed at the 1850 House Inn & Tavern in September 2016, and it was GREAT. The building is historic, but the comforts are all modern. Comfortable bed, good...More

I have stayed here on two occasions and I have never seen children. But not sure on their policy. Best bet is to call; they have always been helpful with my questions and concerns.
