Detailed Reviews
We were delightfully surprised at our experience at this hotel. Our handicap-accessible room was terrific.! There was enough room to move around in my wheelchair. The bed was the ideal height to transfer; not too high and not too soft.
The bathroom was luxurious with a commode that was easy to transfer to with a raised seat making it easy for everyone needing some accommodation. There was a phone next to the commode, as well as an emergency pull cord, a very thoughtful addition.
The sink had a long counter on either side with room for personal items. There was a lovely supply of toiletries. Along with the usual shampoo and conditioner, were body wash, luxury soap, and body lotion, all with the same gentle fragrance. There was also a nicely sized shower cap, which you don't find much anymore.
The roll-in shower had a shower chair that could accommodate most weights and sizes and be moved to a convenient spot to reach the showerheads. Here is my one complaint. The controls for the shower were a little confusing, and not intuitive. We had to recruit one of the housekeepers to help us figure out how to use it.
There were many dining options - the coffee shop, a buffet, an Italian restaurant, and a pricey steak house. We had most of our meals at the coffee shop. Breakfast was great with a very generous steak with my steak and eggs, both cooked just as I liked it. The breakfast burrito was so stuffed my hubby had trouble finishing it. Portions at the two places we tried were quite large, but except for the excellent breakfasts, the food was just okay. The Italian restaurant was far from authentic. We did not try the steak house though the menu had a wide selection, at some very fancy prices.
Everyone from the valet to the blackjack dealers was friendly and helpful. Frankly, this hotel put fancy city hotels to shame, at half the price one would expect for such quality.

We stayed here for a weekend as two couples ages 25-29. Mostly an older crowd as expected for casinos but some people our age and some kids around. We had a great time and I would say our stay was almost perfect!!
Room was lovely, spacious, and clean. The beds were super comfortable but the sheets were not breathable at all. I do get warm when I sleep but I have never sweat like that before under those sheets. Our shower also leaked everywhere all over the floor, which wasn’t too much of a big deal but we did have to sacrifice a lot of towels to wipe it up. Other than that the room was great!!
Lots of slot machines to play and enough table games to keep us entertained. Live music both Friday and Saturday night. Smoking room is closed off behind glass doors so it keeps the stink confined to that area. Bathrooms were immaculately clean and I constantly saw employees wiping down machines. Beautiful facility overall and lots of odes to Seneca natives history.
Food and drinks are a bit pricey but that’s to be expected. They had a 5 beers for $15 deal during the Sabres game so my friends loved that. We had a meal at the cafe and everything was good.
My only complaint is that the wait for drinks was long - for both coffee and alcohol. On both Saturday and Sunday morning only one person was working the Starbucks. And then Saturday night at the bar on the casino floor, only two bartenders were working and they seemed to constantly overlook people coming up and waiting to order drinks. So that was annoying.
Pool was full of kids so beware of that. Hot tub was so nice on a snowy evening, but there were some other groups just camped out in there. I wish the hot tub were bigger.
I had a massage at the spa, and wow the spa is also a BEAUTIFUL facility. The staff was so nice and my massage therapist Shelly was awesome and made me feel so comfortable. It was my first professional massage in a spa and I truly felt like I got my moneys worth. I loved the steam room and shower afterwards too.
If like you gambling and you’re looking for a weekend getaway like us, this is the place to be! They also had lots of promos like free $15 gambling money on a new player’s card. We’ll be back!!

We stopped in here to kill some time on a rainy day on vacation on Lake Chautauqua. This is an Indian casino so it was cool to see the words written in their language on signs. Like most Indian casinos that we have been too, we went broke at the slots. The casino is clean and has plenty for everyone to do. We only spoke with the security guard at check in on the main floor and then at a lady checking back into the casino outside the buffet. Both of the them were nice. We did sign up for the players card and got some free play money that was a little better than some other casinos. There is a free attached parking garage with ample parking and elevators.
We ate at the Thunder Mountain Buffet. It was $60 before tip for 2 people for lunch. A little high for lunch but Indian casinos usually are more expensive at the restaurants from what we have found. They have a lot of offerings including prime rib (although a cheaper kind of grisly cut), so you can get your monies worth there if you are hungry enough. Everything we tried was pretty good (nothing really stood out as incredible). The meatloaf was sadly terrible and the orange bourbon chicken was really dry. The mac and cheese and the lo mein were my favorite. They also had a nice salad bar and good dessert spread. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I do recommend coming here if you are willing to dish out the dollars for lunch.

Checked in November 6th. You can enjoy a bottle of their complimentary water for $2.00. Played slots all night, dropped about $ 2000.00. No coffee in the morning or breakfast voucher, nothing!! At least Batavia Downs gives free plays and a full breakfast in the morning. Won't be going back.

Stayed for two nights. After the first night I wanted my room cleaned. Called the front desk—they informed me that housekeeping was only provided on the forth day of a stay because the housekeepers “are not allowed to enter the room” since Covid. I explained that I needed the trash picked up and fresh towels. Also, the toilet could use a cleaning. The answer was we are sorry but that is our policy. Put your dirty towels and trash cans in the hallway. We will leave fresh towels and empty trash cans in the hall. No offer to come into the room to clean the toilet! I asked again at the front desk and got the same answer. So I had a dirty, smelly toilet in the room for the next day.
This is a “4 Star AAA Hotel”? It seems to me that the hotel has decided to reduce the housekeeping staff and uses the above excuse. I stayed here before Covid and don’t recall any problems with housekeeping.
Also the hotel informed me at check in that they were charging me a $ 20 daily resort fee. When I asked the purpose of the fee I was told that they don’t charge sales tax. Not sure what that has to do with adding a resort fee, but the front desk seemed to have that excuse scripted! (Since the hotel is on Indian land they can’t charge state sales tax!) Also, the on premises restaurant selection is limited on weekdays. The buffet was OK but the Italian restaurant was only fair. Suggest finding other accommodations and restaurants in the area!

Unexpectedly impressed . Rooms were much nicer than expected. We spent a Tuesday night here. Really enjoyed the casino. Mostly a non smoking property. You could not smell smoke anywhere. Very clean. Staff was efficient. Parking was free and easy. We will return.

I really wanted to try this resort, I usually go to Seneca Niagara. My host scored me a comped 2 night stay, so happy about that. The room was OK, but we were placed in a handicapped room, so the bed was very low to the floor, we had to remove the huge chair from inside the shower stall, and the toilet seat was raised, not a deal breaker, but hated to take a room away from a handicapped person who might need it. The room was clean, bed was comfy, but pillows were hard and uncomfortable. The thermostats was very hard to set, the buttons had to be pushed really hard.
The casino was nice , lots of slot choices, staff constantly cleaning machines and areas, which was nice to see. The smoking area is just a small room, with no exciting slots in there, the rest of the casino is nonsmoking.
Not enough waitresses, in the entire two days, I was asked only once if I wanted a drink, and I was playing the slots all day long.
We ate dinner at the Buffet downstairs twice, it was very good. We ate breakfast at the upstairs cafe/ buffet/restaurant. We did not order the buffet, we ordered off the menu. Service was extremely slow, guess they are highly understaffed, food was nothing to write home about.
To sum up my review , I’d have to say , room was basic, not enough restaurant choices at all, slots were tight, need a larger smoking area, and need more waitresses on the casino floor.
I like Seneca Niagara a lot better, so I’ll continue to go there.

So...water? Since when is it $2 for a bottle of water suspiciously left in the room with a suposid "sign" that says they charge $2 for a WATER. Sorry to be that Karen but you can't spare a water?but coffee Is complimentary that is left in the room? Do better Allegany spending $100's of dollars to be charged $4 for WATER. did you get it imported from the Himalayan mountains? I guess BYOW is in effect for this property.

Overall, this was a really nice hotel and casino. We decided to stay here for a night to break up a long drive to Washington DC. The location is really out there - like nothing really around at all (ie shopping etc..). The room was very clean and spacious - nicer than the rooms at Seneca Niagara. The bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was great. The Italian restaurant was closed (which was disappointing) as it was a Wednesday night. So we ended up at the Seneca Cafe - the food was great. The casino was very large and the games were plentiful - it was so nice not having to wait to get on a slot machine. My husband went to the bar and played video poker - he got a beer (comp'd). When he asked for another one, he was told he needed to wait a certain amount of time before they'd comp him another beer. Ummm...he just dropped $300 in the machine - seriously? Seneca Niagara does not do this. Other than this, I'd recommend this hotel and casino.

Another wonderful stay at the Seneca Allegany! We went early in the week and it was not very crowded, allowing for a very easy check-in and departure. The hotel and casino are very clean and well maintained. We have stayed here many times and will continue to do so.
