Not a great start. No desire for any Diamond recognition anyway but would have appreciated the promised text to say when room was ready. Went along with “we don’t give diamond upgrades here.” Two hours wait and noticed I had pending charge for room. Checked in and found the 6th floor had no housekeeping to be seen anywhere. Room made up presumably long before and like others waiting around lobby just not informed as was reassured. Rest of stay as per usual: Spotlessly clean room, a ‘small’ fitness center I like to use and spacious breakfast area with many options. The omelette station gentleman is everyone’s hero and bright start to the day! Parking never an issue and short walk to everything in town. Will continue to frequent but won’t believe anything they tell me at reception.…

It was 15 months since my last visit due to COVID-19 restrictions and the staff and this property did not miss a beat! I was immediately recognized and welcomed back by the front desk team and many other staff members. This property does it right in some many different ways, I wish other Embassy Suites Hotels would observe and take a page from their playbook. The hotel is extremely well kept, the team is very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast and dinner options are excellent and should not be missed. If you do not want a run of the mill average hotel stay, then I would highly recommend that you stay here, and you will not be disappointed.

First off we thought the room was a tad small, but it turned out just fine. There were four of us, two adults & two kids. We had a handicap room because my grandson is is special needs. The shower was wonderful, except the water splashed out into the bathroom, necessitating using bath towels to absorb & keep it under control. Housekeeping brought us extra towels. The hotel is upscale, with a grand lobby, a very nice bar and a huge dining/ breakfast room. Breakfast was outstanding, with a made to order cook. I thought the quality of the food served was first rate. I would recommend this hotel.

I will start by saying this is a beautiful hotel with super friendly staff. The suite had plenty of room for the five of us. Bathroom was huge and there was a fridge. The hotel is within walking distance to town and Congress park. There is a 24 hour CVS in the parking lot as well as a rental car place a cute Bistro and a couple other stores. Breakfast here is by far the best free breakfast I have had at any hotel I have ever stayed at. Hot fresh made to order pancakes, waffles and omelette station with the friendliest chef who greets you warmly for the day and will put pretty much anything your heart desires in your pancake, waffle or omelette. I would love to start my morning with this chef every day. Breakfast is worth the stay alone!!!! So here is why I gave a 4 the pull out couch that some of our party stayed on had springs sticking out and was very uncomfortable. The hotel had a afternoon reception and gave drink tickets for adults. I was a little disappointed in their reception snacks, especially when their breakfast is so stellar. We tried the restaurant on property because we were getting a snow storm. They could be so much better!! Stay with the burgers, wings and salads all really good. The one more upscale dish had to be sent back. Our waitress was amazing. Finally the hotel has put so much effort into being beautiful it forgot to spend a little more time on the pool area. Which was indoors but small and no jacuzzi was disappointing. Don’t get me wrong these are minor issues and why I gave 4 stars. I would not think twice about staying here again! I booked this hotel based on the location and other reviews. Location was great. Room was nice. Front desk staff was great. Breakfast was fantastic. However- worst night of sleep ever !! I had an important event the following day and there was a dog in the room adjacent to me that would not stop barking! I called the front desk and the gentleman was very kind and said they would address it. The dog stopped barking briefly and then resumed for another 2 hours or so (until after midnight). Ugh. I assume the owner left the dog in the room alone which is against hotel policy. This made for an extremely unpleasant stay in an otherwise very nice hotel.

The hotel would have gotten 5 stars. Except for the offers to upgrade to premium suite for $20. Preety good deal… they promise snack bar premium keurig,water etc. however, they also advertise they will restock every day. Housekeeping was non existent. We liked it very much that after one night we extended from 2 day reservation to 3. But by end of 2nd day realized that calling and walking down to front desk to ask for housekeeping was a waste of time. The hotel mgmt is very quick to text you to rate them and ask how everything is/was. Then when you tell them all they say is “sorry, hopefully you will be happier for your next stay with us.” There will not be a next stay. Do not advertise or solicit to upgrade to “premium” experience if not willing to advertise. I ended up paying $60 bucks for a few bottles of water and a few bags of cheetos and stuff. If It was $20 for entire stay I would be fine. But over 3 days that adds up. SO DO NOT BOOK PREMIUM SUITES IF STAYING MORE THAN 1 NIGHT! They will not replenish as promised. Or clean room on demand as promised (they left 3 towels on desk and never cleaned garbage cans or anything as requested). That being said the free breakfast and mgr happy hours were a nice perk.…

We had a wedding to attend at the Canfield Casino which was an easy walk from the hotel (even with formal dress). Spacious clean suites and the made to order breakfast was very good, they even had gluten free bread for my celiac husband. But what made the experiencemost pleasant was the friendly staff at the desk and at breakfast. I called at 10am to ask if we could check in an hour early and after putting me on hold for a second, the response was "Yes, your room is ready you may check in at any time."
