Stayed 2 nights (4/21 & 4/22/2023) in Rm. 132 - Disappointed due to major stay issues, observations & concerns. We had to stay in Saratoga Springs for a family wedding at the Casino Lodge. We usually stay at the Hampton Inn in East Greenbush, NY when we travel to the Capital District area. The Hilton Gardens Hotel is typically a higher standard hotel, with higher pricing/night and higher expectations for the stay. When we checked out we then stayed 2 nights (4/23 & 4/24) at the Hampton Inn, E. Greenbush, NY - which was absolutely wonderful! I will write another Feedback for that stay separately. The issues with the Hilton Garden Inn @ Saratoga Springs, NY - 1) Children and a baby were crying from the hotel kitchen area 2) The outside court area where the fire pits are located - I walked over to find a bunch of employees in purple shirts (maybe laundry/housekeeper workers) hanging out at one of the picnic tables with children and a black dog. Then they "ALL '' went back into the building (children & the black dog) through the service/employee entrance? 4) The room was clean and housekeepers seemed to do an excellent job - all though none of them spoke English. 5) The towels were heavy, bleached, stiff and rough as Loofah Sponges 3) The breakfast was a disaster both days. Mary, appeared to be the only one trying to manage the cook and a person who just was printing & handing out receipts. Mary was doing all she could do (taking orders for the cook, busing tables and trying to replenishing the Coffee station and the other help yourself items (milk - Only whole milk available, cups, napkins - only cocktail size available, only plain coffee creamer - no flavored creamers, limited utensils). Meanwhile there were 3 employees at the front desk having just conversations with each other. It appeared there were no managers available either day. This was not a good stay and we definitely will never stay there again! And this was the "slow" season for Saratoga! Recommend not staying at this hotel, it is better to stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites in East Greenbush and do the 30 minute drive to Saratoga Springs.…

Lovely hotel with wonderful staff. Especially Amy who served our breakast the morning of the departure. When paying our bill she continued with "would you like some water or juice and some muffins for the ride". First time it happened. thank you Amy for going above the call. See you next year

I forgot my glasses there. I called that day; they found the glasses and packaged them at my expense 2 weeks later they still haven’t been mailed because they don’t have time to go to the post office.

Product/rooms are a standard Hilton situation. Clean & well appointed. Staff meant well, but lack process/training & communication. The lovely young lady at the front desk gave me complimentary breakfast for both mornings when I checked in. I thought that was above and beyond noting that there was usually a charge. She said she made the notation on my room & that I would be all set. Based on this, I went to the breakfast buffet instead of the local Starbucks. Mediocre at best, but it was complimentary (or so I thought...) The woman cashing me out noted she saw the complimentary nature and I signed and went on my way. Same deal next day, only this time, they informed me I did NOT have free breakfast. They 'met me in the middle' and only charged me one day of breakfast, vs. 2. At checkout, the girl said 'I dont know why anyone checking you in would do that. It just notes a breakfast request here, it wasn't granted.' I did not request breakfast....in fact, based on the quality, I wouldn't request it or recommend it to anyone. Frustrating situation, when the girl checking me in was trying to go above and beyond and it resulted in this type of experience. …

We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Saratoga Springs NY. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was equipped with a fridge, microwave and a Keurig machine. We had some issues with heating and the staff there was helpful and rectified the problem as soon as they could. Madison, the hotel staff, even credited a portion of the hotel fee back to us for the inconvenience. We were toasty warm the next evening. After leaving the hotel, I realized that I may have left my glasses behind and called the hotel. Laura handled my issue courteously and went through the lost and found and even sent a photo to me to verify if the glasses she saw were mine. The staff there are very helpful, and we had a great stay. Highly recommended!

This is a very good hotel. It has basics: location, breakfast, pool, good rooms and access to the park. Although, breakfast was not included with our stay, it was available daily for a small fee. It was much better than DD option. )) Pool and gym weren't busy. Beware: It is cold to walk away from pool area. Rooms were nice. Two options: park view or parking lot view. Heater required some adjustments.

It's what you would expect from a Hilton Garden - clean, well maintained, easy free parking, fridge and microwave, etc. The price was reasonable. The management must be doing something right, because the employees are friendly, helpful, check in and out was easy. They nicely gave me a quiet room far from the hockey players staying there.

My recent stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Saratoga Springs was a wonderful experience from check in through checkout. I was welcomed immediately and was quickly checked in. I had dinner both nights at the restaurant and bar. Food was delicious and service was exceptional. Unfortunately I did not eat at the breakfast buffet which sounded wonderful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again when in the area

Our 14U hockey team stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn, Saratoga springs, for the MLK weekend winter classic tournament. This hotel was a perfect choice, the rooms were spacious, clean and affordable. There is plenty of both indoor and outdoor meeting space including a stocked bar, an indoor pool that stays open until 11 PM, and fire pits for outdoor gathering. The staff was always courteous and helpful, especially Amy who worked in the bar area. We will definitely stay here for future tournaments, and highly recommend this hotel to other teams.
