While the room decor may be a little "grandma chic", the room and rest of the hotel are very well kept. There is literally not even a speck of dust ANYWHERE! we arrived to cute towels folded like swans on the bed and nice details like a couple chocolates, snacks, juice, soda, and candles to light while soaking in the...

I love this beautiful town in the Finger Lakes region of New York State. The whole town celebrates a Charles Dicken Christmas with people in costumes singing carols and shops featuring all sorts of Christmas decorations. Every Year it always gets me in the spirit of things. This is the first time we stayed in Skaneateles and it was a...

We enjoyed a 3 night stay over Thanksgiving. Clean and pleasant room. We saw no innkeeper until the day we left and just popped into the office to say goodbye. No housekeeping service on Thanksgiving day but our room was stocked with extra towels and coffee the day before. We appreciated the soft drinks and snacks provided. Convenient location to...

This is an unexpected surprise and a home away from home. We stayed in the bungalow, and we were comfortable and safe. We took our pet and the team provided towels, biscuits and materials to take care of the dogs business. The room was roomy and had a patio. It is a little pricey, but definately worth it. The room...

We stayed one night mid-week and took advantage of a nice mid-week (and probably off-season) rate. This hotel is an old house off of the main street that has been converted into a hotel. Room was nice but perhaps a tad small, but certainly adequate. Bathroom was clean & tidy, tiled, and had a jacuzzi-type bathtub. My only minor complaint...

We spent 8 days traveling across New York state and I had booked several "boutique" hotels at various locations. They all looked about the same on-line, clean but sparse, maybe a little "different." Ok for a night's sleep, but nothing to write home about. However, this delightful 5-room boutique exceeded all our expectations. It's all new and very nicely done....

I have to admit, I was skeptical. Skaneateles Suites owns a few properties in town, and based on the web site it seemed... weird. I needn't have been concerned: our room in the boutique hotel was comfortable, spotless, large, and close to all the sights of tiny Skaneateles. It's very informal; we never actually saw any of the staff, but...

Found this small hotel on this site a month or so ago. Booked two nights here for part of our annual autumn fall foliage trip. When we checked in, the owner was most polite and took a good amount of time to explain all the features of the property. We had a downstairs room overlooking the front porch. Very quaint...

Very outdated furniture. I did not want to put my clothes on the chairs since all furniture was old. Updated bathroom and was clean. The only positives were quiet, we could walk to the lake and somewhere to eat. I would stay again but not for that enormous price. I could have stayed in Auburn at the brand new Hilton...
