The Packwood House is a small hotel associated with the Sherwood Inn. Well decorated and comfortable rooms with a nice little balcony facing the lake (non lakeview rooms available too). The lobby is not staffed and there is no on-site restaurant. For services and amenities beyond the room, you go to the Sherwood Inn which is a very short walk...

Hotel is very conveniently located in the center of town, with ample parking behind the building. We had a lovely view of the lake and enjoyed strolling through town and visiting some of the unique shops. Our room had two queen beds which were comfortable. There is a microwave and small refrigerator in the room, which was handy, but the...

We stayed here for one night for our anniversary. The room was filthy. The entire windowsill, for the window overlooking the lake, was covered in dead bugs. The desk in front of the window was also covered in dead bugs. There was a group staying there for a wedding who were up all night, running up and down the halls,...

I highly encourage you to stay at the Packwood House in Skaneateles! It is in the middle of town, very clean, great breakfast at the Sherwood Inn, and it has the world's best view! Skaneateles Lake is right across the street! And, go to the LakeHouse Pub!

My 3 sisters and I stayed here one night for a reunion during off-peak season. We rented a suite with king bed and sofa bed. The King bed was wonderful, but the sofa bed mattress could have been improved with additional padding or a mattress topper. The sofa itself seriously lacked good support even for sitting. There was plenty of...

We have stayed at the Packwood several times over the past years. Although the room was clean it is in desperate need of updating. The complimentary coffee and baked goods were no longer available. Skaneatleles is a beautiful town an though this hotel is convenient not sure for the cost we would book here again

Stopped off here on a road trip across NY state. Lovely historic village, situated on a picturesque lake. Packwood House was very comfortable, huge room, and pretty good value. Our only criticism is that we didn't seem to have a wardrobe! Though as we were only stopping one night this wasn't too much of a problem.

This was our home base for a reunion with friends and we were extremely pleased. The hotel itself made you feel like you were in some cosmopolitan city, yet very safe and secure with private on site parking at o additional fee. Room was well appointed with excellent lighting and sufficient seating for 4 along with a microwave and a...

We stayed at this hotel for one night traveling through NY. Skaneateles NY is a pretty little town right on the lake. The Packwood House is a sister property of the Sherwood Inn. If you can book in the Inn it is much nicer! The Packwood House is a 3 buildings down the street, very safe and clean. The breakfast...

We enjoyed our stay here but it was quite pricey compared to other places we stayed at that were in more central Finger Lakes areas. The room was nice, we had a balcony which had a somewhat obstructed view. The complimentary breakfast was very nice - a good touch and way more than I expected in variety and excellence of...
