My initial impression of this place was not too great but we stayed here 2 nights and it has a lot going for it. First, it is very family friendly. Second, they are not strict about 3 night weekend minimum during the summer. Staff is very friendly and hard-working, and they do care that you have a good time and...

Stayed here with my husband and two children. At $600+ per night was expecting a high end B&B. So not. Pool was run down and so was this place. We were put out back in a villa that resembled something from a childhood camp. There wad an odd assortment of furnishings and a bathroom that was a walk through to...

I could not have been more pleased with our stay. The Village latch is a true gem. Steps from town, gorgeous grounds, artistic interior, fabulous breakfast , complimentary afternoon wine and the staff is A1 across the board. Lois was so helpful and incredibly detailed with all of our needs during our stay. Martin, a true entrepreneur and artist, so...

I recently stayed at the Village Latch Inn with my family and we had a wonderful time. The children immensely enjoyed swimming in the outdoor pool and playing on the large lawn. The people at the front desk were very friendly and patient with my children. Concerning the room decorations, we discovered that each room was decorated differently and we...

When I arrived I was so taken back by the beauty and motif of the Village Latch. I can see where The Great Gatsby Days are still there. The hotel is filled with antiques and artifacts from all over the world .The rooms are very comfortable and do vary in size. On our 2nd day we came back to the...

My boyfriend and i were looking for a little romantic getaway and this hotel is it! Quiet, secluded property right in town and a gorgeous bike ride to the beach. We hung at the pool, coffee in the garden and walked to some great restaurants. The building we stayed in was old, but full of character and loaded with interesting...

My College friends decided to have a college reunion with 10 friends. We stayed at one of the Village Latch Villas, where we each had our own room, and our own Living Room and Country Kitchen. Great time, great place. It really is gorgeous, terrific. We felt like millionaires. It was very elegant and clean. It was like a large...

My family & I stayed here over memorial day weekend and had a great time. Thought it was a little B&B, but behind the hedges it was approx 5 acres..beautifully landscaped. The living room and lobby were right out of Architechural Digest, beautifully decorated. We stayed in one of the modern duplexes, but would have rather stayed in the main...

Very old, very outdated. Dusty, damp room. This place could be a gem with some proper care.

We are disappointed when a customer is less than 100% satisfied, and we strive to address concerns and find solutions, when asked to do so. From experience, we have learned that we are as good as our customers feel, although sometimes people have a different expectation from the unique experience we offer. One guest exclaims "I love the ambiance of...

Our stay was comfortable as the bed was good and the shower was fine but this is an old and shabby place with little charm. The decor of our room was laughable. No headboard, unattractive giant palm fronds stenciled on the walls, and an assortment of mismatched furniture including a TV from way back when. The breakfast was very nice...
