We have been traveling each summer to Southamton for about 10 years at least once or two times each simmer. We always have been booking either room or cottage at House 1708 bed and breakfast hotel. It situated right in he middle of the Southampton village offering traditional "Hampton flare" with pice of some American History. Booking with House of...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We always appreciate input from our guests. We are sorry about your disappointment with breakfast. County guidelines for properties of five or more units (small hotels) have mandated changes. Since you felt our staff did not clearly explain the reason for the changes to our usual breakfast, I am sorry...

We stayed at the 1708 House for one night in Southampton (we regret not staying longer!). The Hotel is very charming and beautiful inside and out. The room was well kept, clean and very comfortable. Our only tiny complain there would be that the pillows didn't have much to them. While you have access to your own room you also...

Charming, lovely place to stay right in the center of Southhampton but amazingly quiet as well. Rooms were big, beds large and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. All the rooms had private bathrooms.

I love the 1708 House! This was our second stay and it was just as good. The accommodations are quaint, clean and welcoming. The location is perfection as you can walk to town and a beach pass comes with your stay which is like gold! Breakfast is always delicious with and assortment of pastries, bagels, yogurt, fruit, cereal and eggs...

The 1708 House is a family owned and operated B&B. We were lucky to have Melissa, a daughter, in charge of the house. The accomodations are superb, the attention to detail is great, the friendlyness makes you feel at home, the breakfast room and food is wondeful, and the celler for an evening wine and game is magnificent. The location...

I have often thought of the Hamptons for its great restaurants, shops and of course beaches. The 1708 House reminds guests that the Hamptons is also a place steeped in history. This lovely Inn has been beautifully refurbished and is right in the heart of Southampton's historic district, which is also very convenient to all shopping and restaurants. My husband,...

Just returned from Memorial Week-End. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, accommodating or personable. We stayed in one of the cottages which was immaculate and cozy. Breakfast was delicious with variety and freshness. It was my daughter's birthday and they delivered a bouquet of flowers to her!! And, the location was ideal. I rate this charming place a 10+.

I had the opportunity to stay at the 1708 Inn for three nights from April 9 - 12, 2015. The staff/owners were excellent. After I mentioned that I like to walk/run every day they mapped out a great route for me whereby I was able to see much of Southampton. The following day they had another route ready for me....
