Normally one would have to fly to Bavaria to experience something as charming and beautifully decorated as this inn...the whole place is bathed in a warm golden light, and exudes a level of charm and taste I have never experienced before in any hotel or inn in the US. We are a family of five (2 adults, 2 boys,1 dog)...

Great special bar drinks and tapas to match. The grounds are just beautiful with not a plant or shrub out of place. The outdoor fireplace and patio area could be something out of House Beautiful. Very quaint and inviting. Gorgeous views of the mountains. A romantic hideaway for all the seasons.

The Deer Mt. Inn, in Tannersville, NY, is like stepping into a mountain lodge & inn somewhere in the Bavarian Alps or Ural mountains! This remote, though quite accessible establishment is literally a jewel in The Catskills! You walk into a restaurant that is so warm with old world charm, that you really forget that you're just 30 minutes for...

A delightful room, outstanding meal to remember, world class cocktails and an overwhelming vibe of relaxation and positivity at each turn. I can’t recall a place with such high end amenities yet so casual and relaxed atmosphere. Hiking trails out the back door lead to photo worthy views you’ll be posting all over your preferred social media engine. This place...

My friend and I were driving around the Catskill and stumbled upon this very cozy Inn just by chance. We only stayed for a coffee and a hot chocolate but the atmosphere was great with the fire burning the and the lights turned it make out visit short but sweet. The staff were really friendly and made every effort to...

We've been coming to the Deer Mountain Inn for many years as a special getaway from our home just down the mountain. It used to be owned and run by a lovely couple who created the magic of the restaurant and hotel, but just ran out of steam. Thank goodness new folks saw the beauty in the place and have...

My wife and I recently spent a couple nights at the Deer Mountain inn and I can confirm it is indeed a special place, with fantastic energy. Here's what makes it so great: LOCATION: The pictures don't do this place justice. The calming feel you get is a result of the beautiful and humongous piece of land this place is...

I stayed in Wheeler and LOVED my room choice. SO cozy. There was a big bathtub and a fireplace and plenty of room to lounge around the room and relax. The inn was fantastic, especially the service. My dog Cooper accompanied me and everyone on the staff was so nice to him and made him feel like a guest as...

Extraordinary and revitalizing, this place is the real deal. Deer Mountain has been lovingly and painstakingly restored. The Inn affords every modern luxury while managing to retain an authentic "collected" lodge-vibe. Nostalgic yet fresh. Drinks at the bar and dinners in the dining room are a feast in every sense. The staff at this property are just as delicious: warm,...
