We stayed there for a night for a wedding event. The place was very cozy & historic with lots of characters. It was Comfortable & enjoyable & surrounding was very interesting with history too. The food at on site restaurant was great.
The hotel is a bit older, but the front grounds are kept nicely and the staff was decent and attentive enough. Rooms were large and the price was very good. This isn't a 4- or 5-star hotel but it's a good hotel for the price...More

A must-see is Union Church of Pocantico Hills; a Matisse rose window is striking, but the Chagall windows will bring tears. Also, it’s prime time for the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) and the FDR Library in Hyde Park—a scenic scoot up the east side of the Hudson River. Small scenic villages along the river also entice visitors to stop and visit.
