I'll start off by saying I did not choose this hotel. I was the winner of a contest that flew me in for a concert and they paid for the room as well. I was pleasantly surprised with this establishment. It was literally a three minute walk from the lobby to the concert venue. (There's a small that you can...

My 6-year-old son and I spent two nights at the Long Island Marriott to have an easy place to crash after watching our beloved Islanders. The hotel is large and comfortable. My son was thrilled to get a room that overlooks Nassau Coliseum. The atmosphere prior to the games was awesome, with a lobby/bar full of excited Islanders fans. Something...

This is a nice pretty large hotel. It looks as if it took over some of the parking lot of the Nassau Coliseum. The fit and finish inside and of the building were all very nice. This was a bit surprising as the location and parking lot seem decidely downscale for the quality of the hotel. The bedroom was good...

I hadn't stayed here in a while. The place is huge and on a cold snowy night and an Islanders game, and a parking lot full of blocked spaces it was not a good start to the stay. However, it is a cookie cutter, old style property in need of "something". The lobby is huge and was lively with Hockey...

A rather bland, empty-feeling foyer sets the tone for the hotel. The rooms are "fine", the bar & restaurant is "fine". There is a coffee bar that opens at 6.30 but don't hope to get breakfast before any early business meetings as that only opens about 6am. I know it is a US thing but I always think that a...

I arrived at the property early for check-in so I was not surprised when told a room was not ready. I was told give them a few hours, I agreed and went to the lobby area to do some work. The lobby was very comfortable and had a lot of space to accommodate business meetings or working, a very good...

My oldest daughter is a freshman at Hofstra University. We have stayed on Long Island about 6 times in the past year - a couple of different hotels. After we stayed at the Long Island Marriott Hotel, I wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff is superb. All were friendly. Gave us free bottle of water because the vending machine water...

I go here every year for a seminar, and stay the night. Beds are comfy, and rooms are a decent size. Service is sometimes hit or miss depending how many congregate in the lobby...since this place attracts many schools that have sports functions nearby, as well as people attending an event at the Nassau Coliseum, which is a stones throw...

My room was supposedly ready but when I checked in we were told they had no more king beds so I had to settle for a double bed. Who the heck wants to share a double bed on Valentine's day. Literally fifty feet away from Coliseum free parking rooms are spacious, room service was terrible it took an hour to...
