Its my first visit to Kempinski Soma Bay with Wellspring Egypt during there family camp. At the beginning i was a bit worried about how there will be dealing during the covid and the precautions taken by the staff members and surprisingly they were beyond my expectations. The rooms were very clean and sanitized and the restaurant during breakfast and dinner we should be wearing the masks and the staff members were helping the guests all the time to avoid any guest to have direct contact with food and beverage in the open buffet. The beach is very clean and has a clear water and suitable for snorkeling for us as a whole family.
I want to thank all the staff members for hosting us and specially in the restaurant M. Ahmed Aly for helping me while my husband was a bit tired from our trip and m. El Amir for being super friendly and helpful for us.
I highly recommend this Hotel for families and couples also as the beach has a special place for adults.

This is our second stay at kempinski soma bay and we enjoyed it a lot. First of all the hotel is following the covid regulations strictly all staff are wearing masks and gloves. Chaise longs are disinfected before every use. Rooms are cleaned every 48 hrs or you can ask not to be entered and request any needed amenities by phone. As for the restaurants food is served by the chefs while you as a guest and the chef are wearing masks you cannot touch any of the food or serving utensils.
As for our stay, it was lovely as usual the staff are very helpful and decent. Rooms are nice need a bit of renovation, the only problem was sound proofing of the room, i could hear every thing in hallway and in the adjacent Room specially that we had a closed connecting door to the adjacent room
Food was delicious with a good variety special shout out to chef Khaled and Ahmed for their delicious salads.
The beach is amazing and the corals are very nice
The cherry on top was the boat trip with Ebrahim, the boat is clean and well maintained. He took us to very nice snorkeling sites. The best thing is talking to Ibrahim a very decent person to talk to. We had an amazing time, the best closing to our trip. I really recommend taking this trip on sunset

If I want to describe our stay I'll say it was a way more than perfect! Starting with the quick check in, the sanitization and cleanness of every part of the resort, every person working in the resort was extremely kind and caring and very helpful (pools and beach lifeguards, waiters, room service, housekeeping, front desk, guests relations, reservations, chefs, etc...). The resort location overlooking sea and mountains landscapes along with the elegant and comfortable structure of the hotel also the fascinating lights at night makes you feel calm and peaceful. From the jacuzzi to the two pools to the wonderful lazy river up to the beach You get confused and can't decide which one to start or end with It's for sure the ideal place to escape from city noise
Very special thanks to the below names: Mr. Ahmed Ali for his continuous care all the time. From the housekeeping Mr. Abdelhamid. From lifeguards special thanks to Chicko, Alaa, Ibrahim, and Sami who were always welcoming, supportive, smiling and ready to help. Our bad luck these are the only names we get to know but of course all hotel staff from all departments were very kind and willing to help even before you think to approach them.
PS: we have been to many 5 stars resorts and we don't like to stay in the same hotel twice, but with Kempinski we can come back again and again whenever we will visit Hurghada ❤

This is our second time visiting Kempinski Soma Bay and I have to say it was absolutely amazing. The staff are professional, cheerful, helpful and welcoming. In fact they are the best hotel staff you are ever likely to have the pleasure of coming across. Special mention to the phenomenonal waiter services of Abdel Fatah & Ahmed.
Mr Abdelfatah goes out of his way every night to make us feel special. He sets out our favourite table spot in the restaurant and ensures that our picky toddler gets his favourite food. He is genuinely caring and knows the menu inside out and recommends excellent food that caters to our taste.
I have to say the food here is by far the best we have ever had in Egypt, it's in fact so good that we will have to hit the gym more often to lose the extra weight :)
They are genuine souls that are only happy when you are happy! The beach is amazing and has its own house reef for snorkeling. Mr Alaa The beach manager is extremely helpful and offers amazing advice on the best snorkelling locations and excursions. The beach toilets are always maintained Spotless and exceptionally clean. There's a kids club for allowing you to unwind whilst your kids are kept happy. Mary and Farah are extremely friendly and are constantly entertaining the kids with both indoors and outdoors experiences. You can truly rest assured that they will take good care of your little ones. The hotel is super clean and take better covid precautions then top notch London hotels! They pay extraordinary attention to this and the attention to detail is note worthy. From beach towels being wrapped to ensure no contact, to liberal use of disinfectant everywhere. Even the pens at reception are sterile!
Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Would definitely be returning & would encourage anyone thinking of this hotel to visit.

We have spent 5 days at the hotel with other families as it hosted Wellspring family camp and it was a wonderful experience for everyone. The staff are helpful and extremely nice and tend to help all the guests. There was a good variety of food and the restaurant was spacious and very clean.
Covis 19 precautions : The waiters were wearing masks all the time and the ustensiles are packed in a paper pack to ensure that all is not touched after being sanitized.. The towels are available at the pool and the staff don't even touch it : they get it out of a zipped bag and hands it over.. The rooms are sanitized and the room response is really quick. At the entrance of the restaurant they measure the guests tempareture and provide a face mask before entering. You have to wear the face mask while going around to get food.
Kids : There is a kids corner at the dinner. We do not try the animation as we were engaged with Wellspring camp activities. There is a nice playground at the beach that all the kids liked.
The corals are wonderful so the snorkling was amazing at this hotel.
The lazy river is a good option to relax.
The gym is clean and nice.
The pool is big and clean.
Thanks to all the staff for the great service and thanks for hosting the Wellspring family camp..
The overall experience is great and we will definitely come back..

I can’t express my happiness and gratitude to all kempinski hotel soma bay staff! It’s my second time to visit this extra ordinary place. Although we are suffering from a COVID_19 pandemic, kempinski soma bay managed to give us the best experience ever ! Once we arrived they : Measured our temperature Gave us masks and sanitizers Discontaminad our luggage All staff are wearing continuously their masks and i saw them changing gloves when dealing with different families. The lobby and restaurant have ground marks in order to keep distance While walking.
The room was already sanitized and cleaned. Telephone handles remote controls were all covered with plastic wrap. At the beach : They disinfect the beach chairs before you use them.
At the buffet : Tables are being distant , all utensils were in a closed container. Check all the photos we took with measures taken during dining time

We came to visit during the time of COVID and were very impressed with their COVID mitigation program. Face masks are required and warn within the hotel, they have masks available if anyone forgets theirs. Hand sanitizer is available everywhere and signage helps people remind everyone to wash their hands and maintain social distancing.
The food for breakfast and dinner is served buffet style, but the staff assist by manning all the food bars and serving you on your plate, thus everyone doesn’t touch the serving utensils. The resort is very family friendly. The Kids Club was very enjoyable for our two children, they were always asking to go back and play with the friendly staff. There are numerous pools (some are heated) which the kids enjoyed as well as a playground on the beach. All of this along with the availability of horse riding made the visit very enjoyable for the kids.
We enjoyed relaxing on the beach and you can get service directly to you lounge chair at the touch of a button, so drinks and snacks are always available.
The staff are very helpful and we’ve enjoyed meeting them and they’re always eager to assist if we’ve needed anything.
Overall this is an excellent and extremely family friendly resort that our family highly recommends.

This my third visit to this magnificent hotel and certainly will not be the last. I really feel guilty not to write a review before. We were afraid to travel because of COVID-19 situation, but once we arrived at the hotel our fears gone away. The precautions and measures are seriously implemented all over the hotel, especially at the main restaurant, and the most amazing thing with all those measures, you don’t feel restricted at all. Your body temperature is tested every time you enter the restaurant. They hand you a face mask to use it around the restaurant ( you remove it on the table of course). The buffet is open but every station has a chef to give you what you want, you don’t get to touch anything. The cutlery is sterilized and put inside sealed envelope. The room is very clean and comfortable. Everybody working at the property always wearing a mask, sanitizers are everywhere. The staff is very friendly, always smiling (even behind the masks), always willing to help. I would like to send special thanks to: Mr. Ahmed Ali & Mr. Hossam Assistant food & beverages managers Miss Farah & Miss Yousr from the kids club Miss Sara from guest relations Mr. Mostafa from the reception. And every other employee i met there and i couldn’t catch his name.

Absolutely the best experience you can get for a summer getaway. It is just the most perfect blend between relaxation and adventure. This resort has it all, honestly!
I personally was impressed by their attention to details and how from the moment you step in you are accompanied by an attentive staff member who pays so much details to safety precautions, the receptionist Mohamed who checked us in literally didn’t touch one thing I touched all throughout the process. A thoughtful surprise awaited us in the room as I came with my husband as newly weds, who barely enjoyed their first summer due to corona, but thanks to their Front office manager Moustafa Sami and Shehab Ahmed the Front office Assistant Manager a honeymoon experience was reset. Talking about beach experience, they have an adults area where we chilled as a couple and another families area where kids seemed to have a blast. Talking about fun, we were welcomed by Alaa the recreation supervisor who simply paid attention to every detail to guarantee us a fun stay and the recreation manager, Sheco who knew exactly what we were looking for and puts his soul into providing a fun water sport experience with great recommendations at hand. Those fun people arranged us a Ringo experience which literally we laughed in excitement all throughout it and a parasailing experience which we are excited to try tomorrow. I couldnt wait till the end of our stay to leave a review, it is just that good of a stay so I had to write one while we enjoy our drinks in one of their regular sundowners!

Absolutely beautiful resort, room was spacious and clean. We had an upgrade so probably normally out of our price range but that was lovely to have. Quality bathroom amenities.
Felt very comfortable here regarding Covid measures. Staff always had masks on. Pool and beach sunbeds were sanitised before you sat down. If people tried to go to the buffet without a mask they were sent away to get one. All food was placed on your plate by the staff so you weren't touching items other guests had touched.
We had inclusive breakfast and dinner and the quality was amazing. Beef and fish stations were particular highlights with top quality produce. Drinks are extra, prices are a little high maybe but that is about on par with the quality of the hotel. It would be good if they offered a package option that also included drinks just to make the stay a bit simpler.
The staff were all super friendly and happy to help with anything and they remembered who you were and your room number after just one visit to the restaurant. Our uber drive also mentioned this hotel had kept on all/most? of their staff despite the downturn while others had fired a lot of ppl so that sounded nice.
I would definitely be happy to come back one day.

Im Dezember ist alles gut. Die Tage sind schön warm, man kann am Strand sitzen und das Meer hat eine gute Temperatur zum Schwimmen. Abends kann es manchmal kühler oder windiger sein, daher nehmen wir immer etwas Extra zum Anziehen mit.
